Bruce, his son and Karen (local property manager) made our experience very easy and enjoyable. Karen helped us with all our pre-arrival questions and requests and was in touch with us throughout our stay.

The house is as advertised in the pictures, and stocked with everything needed to enjoy the inside and outside. The view really does not get old, with an unobstructed ocean view from the entire back side of the home. The driveway and yard were great for our young kids, and the pool was a perfect size for everyone to enjoy. We liked the location, very quiet and private but a short drive to Waimea, Hawi, Mauna Lani shops, as well as a handful of good food options down the road near the port.

Had a amazing time at Cassapacifica. This is our 4th time to enjoy this home overlooking the Pacific. Views and sunsets are breathtaking, the local Restaurants are great our favorite the Seafood Bar, great happy hour and great food. Fresh fish can be purchased at the local fish market and grilled back at the house. Great time, will be back soon. Thanks Bruce.

Our family gathered from Arizona, New Hampshire and Poland for a rare opportunity to for all of us to get together, and what a place this was to make that happen! This was the first trip to Hawaii for our son and daughter and their families, and your home was perfect for all of us. Spending time here may have set the bar kind of high for any future vacations they may plan to Hawaii, but that was what we hoped to do, and this vacation far exceeded our expectations.

The home itself was terrific, with plenty of space for all of us to gather (or to hide from each other for quiet time). The kitchen was equipped with pretty much everything we needed, including spices for the incredible fish we got from "Da Fish House" just down the road. And the pool...well, our four granddaughters loved it; they were in it more than they were out of it (OK, the rest of us were, too).

As the description indicates, you do need a car because it's a little bit away from the resort areas and shopping, but where on the Big Island do you not need a car? And being away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts added to the charm of the place and is exactly what we were looking for. It was hardly inconvenient, as most of the shopping and attractions (on the Kona side) are within a 15 minute to a half-hour drive.

Karen, your property manager, was fantastic and was always responsive and truly concerned that we had everything we needed. She is a gem. Don't lose her!

I have to agree with a previous review I read that the back bedrooms are very warm in the summer season, which might have been my only negative comment had you not provided the portable AC units. But the AC units worked well, and they made those rooms quite comfortable for sleeping. In fact, I'd say they were lifesavers, as the temperatures this past July were record breaking. Thank you for responding so well to your previous guests' comments!

I've already gone an and on, and could go on so much longer, but let me simply thank you again for allowing us to share this idyllic piece of paradise!

We look forward to another visit sometime soon (maybe when the whales are around).

Words can hardly express how wonderful our time has been in your magnificent home. We watched beautiful sunsets and numerous whales in this wonderful secluded slice of Paradise. It's hard to leave such a wonderful place and we certainly hope we have the opportunity to return and enjoy this spacious home and beautiful amenities. We enjoyed our drive over to the local town for shopping and the use of the library. We can see why you enjoy such a great place. The kids loved the pool as well. Rates depend on the number of people in your party. The daily rate starts at $695 per night per couple with an additional charge of $150 per additional couple per day or $75 per person . Call for information about our discounted rates for long term rentals, weekly rates and rentals within this month. A refundable security deposit is required on all stays and the amount varies by the number of guests. A one time rental cleaning fee of $275 to $425 is determined by the number of guests.
