Stepping into this impeccable mountain lodge you will be welcomed by a grand entry of slate and log. Just beyond the front desk a large gathering area tempts you to relax by a massive rock fireplace with several inviting overstuffed sofas and chairs. Your private equipment locker is just around the corner and the hottub, overlooking the Skyway trail, is just out the back door. Kids young and old will love the heated outdoor pool with its heated deck, 2 additional spas and the heated changing rooms that are open all year 'round!
Your suite is only a few steps away by elevator and opens into your lodge-like living area with a balcony, beautiful moss-rock fireplace and an open gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, a slate floor and knotty pine cabinets. The master and guest bedrooms, as well as the two large bathrooms, will greet you with this same warm and well-appointed look and feel.
The master suite pleases with a dual tiled vanity, bathtub with shower, an additional shower stall, and a king-size bed. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with a 19" satellite TV/DVD player, a fan and humidifier. The sofa-sleeper in the living area makes a second queen bed and is complemented with a large flat screen TV with satellite/DVD player and a CD stereo. This unit is also equipped for free high-speed Internet with either wireless (WiFi B/G) or Ethernet cable. Telephone service is through the front desk.
The east-facing windows and private balcony from this second floor condo provide unobstructed and gorgeous views of historic downtown Breckenridge, the Blue River Valley and the mountains surrounding them. As a corner unit, you'll have additional inspiring views to the south along the Ten Mile Range.
This beautiful condo comes equipped with Hair Dryers, Linens, Towels, Humidifiers, Fans, Iron with board, Safe, Alarm Clocks, Etc. The Fully Equipped Kitchen includes: a Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator with Ice Maker, Blender, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Cookware, Utensils, Plates, Glasses, etc. The property also provides a Playground, Gas BBQ Grills, a Heated Garage, a Laundry Facility on each Floor, an Extensive In-house Work-out Facility, a private Ski Locker, and Bicycle Racks.
Although free and private underground parking makes it easy to use your own vehicle, for added convenience, a free and private shuttle can pick you up at the front door to take you around town. Also, the Summit Stage, a free countywide bus system, stops across the street.

able to stay in David and Diana's condo. It was a great
place to stay. We all really enjoyed the extra space and

Our Memorial Day vacation was perfect, thanks to this wonderful condo! It had plenty of space, awesome beds and was close enough to town for our littles ones to walk. The staff at the Lodge was very helpful and friendly. Renting from David and Diana was SO easy! We hope to make it back again soon!

Your condo was wonderful. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! While the men of my family took off for a day of skiing, I was able to sit on the balcony and watch the skiers head off toward the Gondala. Main Street was right there. I walked every morning to the bakery and shopped, had lunch and back to the condo. Every evening my family walked back to Main Street for dinner. Could not ask for a better location to be in Breckenridge. We can't wait to return and will once again stay in your lovely Mountain Thunder property. Thanks again.

We stayed here in mid November and it was just beautiful! All of the amenities that you would ever want and a very well maintained and appointed condo. I didn't find one thing that we may have needed that they'd not supplied. It was snowing and having the wonderful shuttle service to town was great! Close to everything! I am looking forward to booking again in the summer to experience another season in Breckenridge ( and to sit out on the deck and enjoy the great views) !

We just visited for the 3rd time in 4 years. We love the condo - the view, the layout, the location so close to town, and now its great skiing location. We usually come in the fall, but this time we came in Jan to ski. We were so spoiled with the ski in and short walk to the gondola. We even used the shuttle service take us up to the Snowflake lift near peak 8 and over to the gondola on really cold days. We look forward to our next visit. David and Diana are so attentive and they make the place so enjoyable to visit. Its a great home away from home.

We recently stayed over Easter Break in David & Diana's condo and truly enjoyed our vaction. The condo was very clean and fully loaded with everything our family needed. It was in a perfect location to downtown Breckenridge, which we walked three blocks to every day. The views of the mountain from the condo balcony were breathtaking, to say the least.
Our children loved the idea of skiing right to the back door of the Lodge and using the pool/hot tub after each ski day. My wife loved the idea of making a home cooked breakfast before a full day of skiing and having the convenience of coming back to the condo for a hearty lunch. Also, having the washer/dryer just down the hallway was a plus since we had alot of wet ski clothes every day.
The front desk/reception people were very helpful when we needed to print out e-mails and boarding passes, and reserve movies for the kids.
All in all it was a very wonderful vacation and completely stress free because of our stay in David & Diana's beautiful condo. We will definitely keep it in mind for next year and tell all our friends about it.

We especially liked the shuttle bus service, and the ski into the back door at the end of the day, as well as the pool and hot tubs – all things we do not have in France when skiing!!
The condo was well located, and each night we ate out at a different restaurant (visited Bubba Gump twice, as the kids and us liked the atmosphere and food) using the shuttle to get there, then walked back after each meal.
The skiing was awesome, and we liked the tree lined routes and absence of ice. Tried the Imperial chairlift and the great run down that side. We skied at Keystone one night, and that was a good first time experience of night ski.
Only complaints were the extreme cold and wind on most days! The restaurants on the mountains lack the atmosphere of the French ones, and we found were too big and the food repetitive in each place.
The reception desk was excellent and friendly.
An excellent holiday, and we will certainly recommend your condo to other friends who want to go to Breckenridge.

David was very easy to work with in arranging the booking of his condo. We went up there with 2 young kids, 2 older children and 3 adults. This condo suited us perfectly! They even had a Pack n' Play and highchair for the baby, and pull out couch for the older boys. The condo was immaculate with all the basic necessities, and the hotel was gorgeous - in a prime location for walking to everything. They had FREE van service and the pools and 3 hot tubs were so much fun. Highly recommended!

Location improves for the winter considerations due to the lift opening very close to this property in a few months.
Breckenridge is a great town and we used this as a base to launch many day trips around Colorado during our trip.
Handling the rental transaction with the owners could not have been easier.
I strongly recommed this condo and Breckenridge.

We recently stayed four nights in this well appointed condo. Everything was in great condition and the lodge is spectacular. The staff at the lodge were very friendly. They even offer complimentary Starbucks every morning! The location is great for walking around town and the bus stops right out front if you want to go further. I would highly recommend staying at the Mountain Thunder Lodge.

We had a great stay in Breckenridge. The condo is perfectly situated for a short trek to Main Street's fun shops and restaurants. Mountain Thunder Lodge will soon be a terrific ski-in location when the access trail is finished. Everything was done to make our stay most enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here.

We recently stayed in this home, it was a wonderful weekend and a great experience. We liked the fact that we could easily walk to most anywhere we wanted to go in the town.
The home itself is very nice, clean, and well equipped. It had everything that we needed for our weekend stay. The kids had a great time playing in the pool while we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.
One really nice surprise was the extra, third shower, which made getting ready to hit the town simpler for the entire family.
