Stowe is a wonderful place to visit year round, but it is especially beautiful in the fall and winter. Skiing, boarding, snowmobile rental, snow shoeing, snow tubing, horse drawn sleigh rides and cross country skiing - any winter activity is conveniently available. Hiking, biking or just a casual walk to the village. It is a short walk to the Stowe recreation path and you can walk or cross country ski past fields, brooks and over quaint wooden bridges to the village. The village is a charming place to explore all year round.

Over 50 restaurants (several 5 star) are located in the village and on the Mountain Road, 5 within a short walking distance. There are 70 shops of all kinds for your enjoyment. Even Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory is just a short drive away with free samples for all! The Cider Mill Press is also close by and offers free samples as you watch fresh cider being made. This is the place to do it all.
