The main level has an open floor plan consisting of the fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, great room with exposed beam cathedral ceilings, Pool table, stone gas log fireplace, wall of windows and a large partially-covered deck with gas grill and 6-person Jacuzzi brand hot tub to relax and view the beautiful natural surroundings with mountain views in winter months, a Sony Satellite TV/CD/DVD/VCR/Stereo Entertainment system, and two queen-sized futons. Also on this level are a bedroom with queen bed and satellite TV and a full bath.
Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with King-sized bed, satellite TV, a private master bathroom and walk in closet.
The bottom level contains a large bedroom with a queen bed, two sets of bunk beds, and a queen-sized futon, Satellite TV, Foosball Table, laundry room, full bath and a garage.
From the living room there are three entrances to the large wraparound covered porch and deck where you can relax to the peaceful sights, creek sounds, and breezes that flow through the surrounding forest. Located just 10 minutes from Boone shopping and dining and close to all High Country attractions, you're sure to love everything about the Captain's Cabin!
FAST FACTS: This home has a moderately steep paved access road & a steep gravel driveway and parking area. There are no other homes visible from the house so deck privacy is excellent. The nearest main road is Highway 194, approximately 3.5 miles away. Boone is about a 10-minute drive away, and Blowing Rock is about a 20-minute drive. There are fourteen steps to enter the home from the parking area. There is room for at least five mid-sized cars to park. This home is not equipped with central air conditioning.
