This lovely northern Michigan vacation rental is situated on Elk Lake (3.5 miles east of Elk Rapids), one of the upper chain of lakes including Elk, Skegemog and Torch Lakes. Elk Lake and Torch Lake are among the top twenty most beautiful lakes in the world. Skegemog is one of the best fishing lakes in Northern Michigan for bass, northern pike and muskies. Elk Lake is a good fishing lake for smallmouth bass, lake trout, rock bass and perch. All these lakes are connected together!!!

Excellent swimming and boating in the summer and great ice fishing and ice-skating in the winter months. Centrally located in beautiful Northern Michigan ideal for the fiery color changes of Autumn, this vacation rental is a private haven for the outdoor recreation enthusiasts. Everything in this northern Michigan vacation rental is new, including kitchen, baths, flooring, windows, and all mechanicals. Central air and heat; Washer and Dryer, linens and towels are included.

Full Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Iron/Ironing Board, Cooking utensils provided, Gas Grill (BBQ), Charcoal Grill (BBQ), 14' row/fishing boat. Linens and Towels are provided.

Bedroom overlooking Elk Lake has 2 double beds. The bedroom with the private bath with shower has a queen bed, and the 2 couches in the living room each has a double pull out bed. Sleeps 2 - 10 comfortably. Linens and towels are included.

This is a great place to visit. If you kayak, there is
no better place to launch from. This summer
(2005), I took my Feathercraft Java and did some 14
kayak trips over the week that we were there. I got
close and personal to a family of loons. This was
something that other powerboats were unable to
do. In addition, the lodge is a quiet place to rest. It
is also a great place to act as a base for day trips to
Traverse City, Frankfort, Leeland, Charlesvoix, and
Mackinaw City. This is a great place and it has
become part of our family's summer plans.

This is a wonderful and roomy property with beautiful views. The condo is extremely well equipped with games, toys, linens, and kitchen equipment. The washer and dryer are a huge bonus, and the owner makes sure there are detergent, coffee and other basic necessities to make your stay more comfortable. Location is perfect - a restaurant/bar across the street, a small market within easy walking distance, and just steps to the edge of Elk Lake. We've rented for the past two years, and are looking forward to returning next summer -
