The vacation home is a fully equipped home with a modern kitchen and dining space for 10 people. There is an enclosed porch with a view of the lake which holds a dining table for 6 and a fold out queen size bed. The master bedroom is very large with a walk in closet and holds a queen size bed plus a fold out queen size couch and still has plenty of room. The living area has a lovely view of the lake with a wall heater fireplace and is nicely appointed with furniture, pictures and a table for four for either eating or games. The second bedroom has a double bed and sitting bench. The lower level could be an extra bedroom with a futon bed and a shower bathroom. The first level bathroom has a tub and a hand shower. There are two cedar decks and deck furniture. There is a large back yard and a picnic table. The lakefront area has a place for a campfire. (Wood is not included) The beach is sandy excellent for swimming. There is a dock on the property and a public access for boats next to it. There is a marina with pontoon boat rentals and a larger public access ¼ mile away. Fife Lake is an all sports lake with excellent fishing.



Fife Lake is a quaint town with 3 restaurants, a grocery store, a party store, a wonderful hardware store, library, churches and a beautiful old cemetery. There are cabins for rent and a small hotel next to the party store. There is karaoke on Friday nights at one of the bar/restaurants.



Fife Lake is less than 25 miles from Traverse City which is on Grand Traverse Bay in Lake Michigan. There are state parks and public beaches where you can swim or boat in Lake Michigan. There is also the Sleeping Bear Dunes and dune buggy riding. Traverse City has many unique shops, art galleries, a water park, and 25 golf courses in the area, many festivals including the Cherry Festival. Both, Traverse City and Kalkaska (15 miles away) have famous fruit markets.



Fife Lake area if famous for its snowmobiling trails in the wintertime. There is also skiing and it is about 35 miles away from Boyne Mountain Ski Resort.
