50 feet from the beach. (3 levels- 30 feet wide X 24 feet

players! We have 8 entertaining Blu Ray Discs in our
library for your enjoyment! 3 bedrooms, plus 2 queen
sofa beds in family room; plus bunkroom. 4 baths all
with showers; 3 fireplaces; Jacuzzi in Master Suite!
Corian sink; dishwasher; Washer-Dryer. Smooth top
stove. Nicely furnished with European mementos.
In the country, yet only 5 miles from Cadillac where you
will find all you want, including shopping, fine & budget
restaurants, etc.
Private lake assures great fishing!
Young people under 21 are welcome, but must have
rental put in parents name or someone in their party
who is 21.
RATES:
Rent entire chalet - $1295. up to 12 people, for "Sunday
to Saturday 6 night weeks".
Weekends available only from mid August to mid June.
Weekends, up to 6 people - $325.00 (Main & upper floor
only. Lower level is locked off.)
Up to 12 people - $375.00.(Reg. $480.00 * (All 3
levels.)
Extra night- $100.00. (Thursday or Monday.)
$200.00 fully refundable* security deposit required for all
rentals. *If no damage is done.*

We just recently stayed at the Das Minne Chalet over the 4th of July. It was wonderful!!! We had 8 Adults and 3 Toddlers and a new born. It was wonderful! We had the best time. The house was great and the lake was fabulous. We all had our own room and it was very private. It was a great lake house set-up. The lake is small but it is great with young children. There is a small beach which was super nice. Has great sun spots and lots of shade also which was nice. Jerry was great to work with. We look forward to returning soon.

My wife and I have stayed at this chalet on two separate occasions. The first time was in July of 2003 and it was with our entire family of 13 men, women and children. We found the home to be in good shape and sizeable for privacy for a bigger group. I love the spectacular morning views from either deck. The private lake is full of smaller fish. Town is a few miles away and it has everything you could possibly need. We had a great family vacation.
The second time we visited this beautiful home (Sep 2010) it was just my wife and I for a few days of rest and relaxation. The home’s interior furniture had been improved but other than that I was the same as before; very nice and well maintained. The owner is a very nice guy and easy to “work” with.

WOW!! What a great winter get-a-way! It was my birthday--wishing to find a cozy place for me and my kids and this more than fit the bill. And so much to do---fine dining, winter sports, shopping, this location had it all. Not to mention, the perfect owner. So attentative and happy to help with anything! Very reasonable price and allowed us to bring our canine family. The personal touches of the chalet were outstanding! Thank you Jerry---I hope to visit during summer months! I have stayed at Das Minne Skihaus many times over the last few years and enjoyed it immensely all four seasons. I am amazed at the owners continuous upgrading of the property and always excited to see what new treat he has for his renters. I did notice the water is a little off color and has a mild odor; rather than finding it objectionable I appreciate the fact that the water pressure has improved and there is plenty of drinking and bathing for all due to the upgrading of the well.(after all this is well water).

What a great vacation get away no matter what season. Cabin is more then perfect for any person, family or group to stay in. Everything you could ever want or need is there. Jaccuzi tub, fireplaces, TV's, DVD players, Grill, large porch with remarkable view of the water, and your very own lake in the back yard! I visited in the winter and was amazed. I can't wait to visit in the summer!

We spent 1 week at the house and it was one of the most wonderful family vacations we have ever taken. I am very pleased with the location to town, the beach, the reasurants, Not, to mention the close location to the pontoon renals. The view over the lake at night is breath taking. There is something for everyone in the family. We will be going back again next year.

My girlfriend and I go on a Valentine's Day "getaway" every year around Valentine's Day. Last year it was Toledo Ohio, this year it was Cadillac Michigan at the Skihaus. The chalet was very clean and cozy and comfortable. Lots of good nearby dining and cool little shop like The Sweet Shop! If you're looking for a nice little getaway look no further than here. Jerry is easy to work with and very accomodating.

What a great place to "getaway!" We stayed at Das Minne Skihaus January 3-4-5, 2003. This place has everything. Loved the woodburning fireplace stoves and the jacuzzi! It was very clean and has every convenience. We ice fished and went skiing nearby. Only an hour to Traverse City...Antique Shops and dining. We really enjoyed it!!!

Owner was helpful with last minute accomodations. Very easy to work with. Cabin was delightfully close to Cadillac, yet feels like a country setting. Cabin was clean and TVs everywhere! We stayed during winter - three fireplaces were very cozy. Good vacation.

We stayed at Das Minne Skihaus this past weekend (September 20-22, 2002) and it was great. The chalet was very clean, fully stocked with linens and towels, with all the comforts and conviences of home, i.e. microwave, washer/dryer, tv's
and vcr's, cooking/eating equipment, jacuzzi and fireplaces. Add that to the fact that it's located right on the lake and you couldn't ask for a nicer place to "getaway." We're looking forward to going back.
