Cabin Rentals Reviews for Luxurious Lakeside Retreat on Crystal-Clear Cold Stream Lake in LowellJune 21, 2010Reviewer: Denise From: Ft. Gordon, GAI am originally from the area of this beautiful rental so already it had a homey feel before I arrived. The first thing I noticed was that the pictures do not do it justice. It is a gorgeous camp/home and the decor and all the amenities make the stay worry free. I was there for 10 days with my daughter and some of her friends (if teenagers are willing to hang around then it's an obvious choice). No one cared that the weather was not the greatest for the visit. We canoed, watched movies, the NBA finals and the World Cup. I can not think of one reason not to reserve this rental. The area and the people are as amazing as the camp/home itself. I would not hesitate to rent this again next time I go home. All those people who say they have always wanted to visit Maine, this it the perfect place to stay when you do. No reason to wait. October 09, 2005Reviewer: Rose Cronk From: Reading, PAWe recently stayed at Gary Kanwisher's home on Cold Stream Pond in Maine. We rented the property from September 10 to September 17 2005. It is a wonderful home and property. We enjoyed our visit so much and also enjoyed much needed relaxation. Gary couldn't have been nicer throughout the entire process including my initial e-mail of questions. The home is beautifully decorated and the location on the water is great. You felt at home and yet on vacation. I would highly recommend renting this property. It scored an A plus with us. July 11, 2005Reviewer: Ernie Spardy From: Coconut Creek, FL
My family and I have rented this beautiful home for the past 2 years, and will be returning again next year. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the Maine lifestyle - warm days filled with swimming and kayaking on the lake, cool evenings relaxing. The location is very convenient for day trips to Baxter State Park, Moosehead Lake, and Acadia National Park. August 08, 2003Reviewer: Timothy Davignon From: Fairhaven , MA
The house is absolutely wonderful and the extra touches (boats, beach towels, videos for the kids, life jackets, perfect little kitchen, etc ...) made for a great week. You guys have a great thing going up there. The place is so nice, I can't imagine anyone not loving it. July 23, 2003Reviewer: Stephanie Licsak From: Ansonia, CTI just wanted to take a moment and thank you for letting us rent your home in Maine. My family and I had a wonderful time. It is so peaceful there by the water, it must be hard for you to move away. May 07, 2003Reviewer: Gil Schweitzer From: South Milwaukee
I sincerely hope that someday I can return to Maine. If you are still renting this house I would love to do that again. I'm sure my wife would greatly enjoy doing that. I can picture her now lounging in the screened-deck reading books | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
