Cold Stream is springfed with unusually clear water. It has a maximum depth of over 100 feet, holding some of the areas best game fishing for trophy salmon, brook, and lake trout. Other recreation includes water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, bicycling, and four wheeling. Only 45 minutes to Baxter State Park and 1 1/2 hours to Arcadia National Park (Bar Harbor). In the winter, snowmobiling, ice-fishing, and hunting.
