Hanalei Bay Resort 5201 is a one-bedroom studio with microwave, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, and two double beds. HBR 5201 sleeps 4.
Hanalei Bay Resort 5202 is a deluxe one-bedroom with king bed, full kitchen, dining area for 2, and a spectacular lanai with ocean, mountain, waterfalls and rainbow views.
Hanalei Bay Resort 5201/02 together makes a very spacious condominium that comfortably sleeps 6. The condominium has a tropical décor, green accents, and a full open kitchen. Cable TV with Internet is in the room. Hair dryers, iron and ironing board, and many beach supplies are also included.
Hanalei Bay Resort offers breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Bali Hai Restaurant. The view from the restaurant is one of the best in all Kauai. (Currently being remodeled) Happy Talk Lounge offers nightly entertainment and nightly specials. Only steps away, 8 tennis courts with pro shop, poolside massage, sand bottom hot tub, two swimming pools with waterscapes, or it's just a short stroll to Hanalei Bay and the beach. We stayed in 52021 and found it very clean and
roomy. The internet was available free and
worked! The air conditioning was very good and
the condo was very well appointed. The view
alone was worth it. We enjoyed many mornings
on the Lanai. We would definitely return!

the rooms cool, the condo itself was

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at HBR 5202 and we truly loved our stay. The views from the lanai were priceless and the condo was exactly as advertised. The condo was very spacious and all of the amenities were exactly as described. While reading other reviews about HBR, we were a little concerned about the distance from some of the condos to the parking lot. HBR 5202 was a very short walk to the parking lot and we rarely used the golf cart service during our stay. Having the air conditioning was very nice, especially during the hot summer months. When we return to Kauai, we will rent this unit again.

Amazing views, very peaceful, and beautiful
grounds. The location was great, and the condo was
equipped with everything we needed. The salt water
pool with waterfalls was very nice. Chuck the owner
is quick to answer your emails and is easy to work
with. Highly recommend!.

HBR 5202 was a beautiful condo and exactly what we
needed to make our kauai experience complete. I
ended up going with Chuck because of how well he
handled communication, helpful hints and just all
around knowing what we needed and making it
happen. The condo was beautiful, location was
wonderful and view.....you couldn't ask for more. The
photo's don't do it justice because it is BETTER than
that. It has everything you need to cook or just bring
in and enjoy. The patio is awesome too and we loved
sitting there and watching the birds. The only negative
was the roosters that continually crow starting around
4am. It became funny after the second night and then
really didn't mind after that as I think we got used to it.
Working with Chuck was the best part though and
some of his hints were right on for our experience.

We had a great stay in 5201 for a week in
February/March of this year. We took an agressive
sightseeing approach to Kauai this year and did not
see everything - so I guess we'll have to go back. The
room is great, no problems and it served as a nice
home base for our adventures.

Hanalei Bay Resort 5202 #7142 - Loved everything about Hanalei Bay Resort 5202 #7142. There were beautiful views everywhere you looked. The staff was very friendly and Chuck was great to work with. He was quick to answer any questions and provided tons of info regarding the condo and the area. All the pictures he has posted are very accurate and true to life. The grounds were well maintained and there were beautiful flowers everywhere. The swimming pool and hot tubs were fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked with quality dishes, pots, pans, etc. Loved the fact that the entire resort is smoke free except for the parking lot. Would love to rent this condo again.

We had the pleasure of staying in HBR 5201/02 the last week in June 2012. The view from the lanei and bedrooms is beautiful. We could have stayed on the lanei all week - it was so beautiful! - but we did also want to see the island so we kept the lanei for anytime we were in the condo: morning coffees, and dinner and drinks at sunset. The condo is really nice and clean with amenities like a washer/dryer a great plus. It's situated across from the pool/tennis courts, right at the top of the hill to the beach. Perfect placement. Our kids even went down to the smaller pool while we watched from the lanei. A friend had stayed here and recommended it and now we recommend it too!

We stayed in HBR 5202 for 5 nights in June 2012, and I have to say it more than met our expectations! First off, working with Chuck was fantastic - great communication and very fair prices. The condo itself felt larger than the photos we saw of this place and was in excellet shape and wonderfully furnished. Very comfortable bed and couch (daughter slept there), and the lanai was very roomy and offered great views. That was one of our favorites also, the view from the room was breathtaking, and that alone would get us back there. We also loved the grounds of the resort and the service. You can't go wrong here and we highly recommend it. Next time we go to Kauai this will be our place to stay - hopefully!

We stayed in HBR 5201-2 for five nights in June, 2012. The two bedroom condo was perfect for our family of five plus a friend from Oahu who is attending Hawaii Pacific University. The condo was very large and conveniently located. The north shore is out favorite place on Kauii and the condo has stunning views of Hanalei Bay and the nearby mountains. The kids loved the beach, the tennis courts, the pools and the snorkeling. Chuck (the condo owner) was honest, friendly and very helpful. I Highly recommend staying here and be sure to ask Chuck questions about the area and review all the hiking and area information he provides on the website. I also want to leave a note about our favorite excursion on Kauii: We booked a zodiac tour of Napali with North Shore Charters and it was fantastic. Since this charter leaves from the North Shore, it is close to the condo and the tour spends more time touring Napali than most of the others which leave from the south shore (90 minute drive). We saw several types of dolphins, sea turtles, waterfalls, explored sea caves, snorkeled and learned a lot about the area from the native captain.

My wife and I stayed in 5202 for 5 days around the end of Feb. 2012 and found the condo to be everything it was advertised and the photos were accurate and not touched up. Friends joined us for part of the time and stayed in the connected unit 5201 and this worked very well for 2 couples. The owner was very helpful and promptly responded to all questions and his website was better than any travel guide. It includes photos and trail detail that you could not find anywhere and restaurants and other tips were invaluable. The views from the Condo Lanai and the private beach below the cliffs that is shared with the St, Regis Hotel are outstanding. Definitely a place we would return to.

The condo was excellent and was well positioned in the resort. The resort is very close to the beach and the whole area is beautiful. in our honeymoon. Both places share the best

We stayed in HBR 5201-2 for six heavenly nights in July, 2011. Chuck was a pleasure to work with and everything was as stated and the condo was well-stocked. The two bedroom condo was perfect for our family of four. We came from four nights at the Hyatt in Poipu which was lovely but its manicured beauty has nothing on the natural beauty of the N. Shore as viewed from HBR 5201-2's breathtaking balcony. A condo vacation is perfect for a family--it's much easier, healthier and less expensive to prepare simple meals in the comfort of your own condo than hauling the kids around for overpriced meals. I LOVED waking up to the stunning view from our condo. Rainbows galore, constantly changing cloud formations, waterfalls, lush green mountains and Hanalei Bay, all from the comfort of your lanai. The kids loved the resort pools and taking the golf cart down to the beach below the resort. We walked to our favorite resort perch every night to watch the sunset with homemade cocktails in hand. We loved coming home to this comfortable condo as much as spending our days snorkeling at Tunnels. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful vacation that makes everyone happy.

we have ever stayed in! The views were of postcard standard! We just
loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. Andy kept saying
how one would normally have to pay double for such a view. Thank you for
supplying all the little things for our needs, it was great having all
the beach equipment in the cupboard. Thank you for keeping the price
reasonable. We loved the way the resort replaced beach towels when we
needed it. We thought your condo was one of the best positioned in the
resort, convenient for both pools, the tennis and yet with the best
views. The area was beautiful. We love the north shore, so much
character and out of the way charm. We love Hanalei and tunnels beach.
Thanks for recommending Captain Andy's sailing. The whole family
absolutely loved that day! So exciting. We did Kauai Kayaks in Hanalei
too which were brilliant. We took a picnic to Ke'e beach and watched the
sunset, magical, thanks for recommending that. Of course we wish we
lived closer because Kauai has to be the perfect vacation, we can't
fault it and it is hard to leave isn't it! Ideal climate, such lovely

We stayed in this condo for four nights and wish it had been seven! The condo was very comfortable, the resort is quiet, there is a nice beach you can easily walk to, the pool is great for kids and a relaxing dip before dinner. We booked this particular condo (HBR 5202) because of the wonderful reviews about it, though I was worried it would ‘get our hopes up’ and make it hard for it to meet our expectations. Not only did it meet our high standards, it exceeded them in many ways. It was clean, beautiful, and equipped with tons of ‘freebies’ from the owner that made it feel so much more special than just renting some random place to stay. Also, Chuck (the owner) had tons of wonderful advice, tips for activities/places to eat, and had incredible communication with us throughout the whole process (booking, questions, stay, etc.) The resort is absolutely beautiful, and the view from the balcony is simply breathtaking. I’m sort of a travel ‘snob’, so I’ve been disappointed many times about expectations being set too high – but this time, NO WAY! This was probably one of our most favorite condo rentals to date. Yes, we will definitely be going back, and we wouldn’t bother to even consider looking anywhere else for accommodations.

What a wonderful time we had in Kauai, the week of Aug.27-Sept.3! It began with the quick, easy and efficient booking. The condo was just like being at home, with everything we needed, as well as being clean and spacious. My granddaughter looked forward to finding "our house" when we would return in the evenings. Great views! We took so many breathtaking pictures just from the patio alone. We even got to meet the owners, when they came by to replace the dvd player (after a one day notice, Wow)and they even brought a new ipod docking/charging station (hope this is the correct term). Chuck even gave us information about addtional places to visit while on the island. Oh, and the links on the website are great! We had a great time. Thanks Chuck, your HBR condo units #5201 and 5202 were quite confortable! We only wished we had more time!

Chuck was very responsive and helpful about our stay in Kauai. The condo was clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. Would recommend for two people! While the Resort grounds are nice - the pool is great! - it's a 10 minute drive into Hanalei for any dining or nightlife activities. However, the beach is a short walk from the condo which was a plus. Would recommend a stay here!

Not exactly our “honeymoon” but a true celebration. Our 36th wedding anniversary. This was our first trip to Kauai, but God willing, not our last. The condo was perfect and exactly what we wanted and exactly what was advertised. Comfort, convenient, private, and quiet. The view was incredible. The stay here was very satisfying. The condo (KBV G6) is private and clean. The only drawback is that I had to leave so soon. Two weeks is not enough time here. I thank you for sharing this condo with me. It is a great condo. It had everything I needed. The decorating was great. The beach is a wonderful beach. I walked it every day. Saw Monk Seals on the beach. Definately would recommend and plan to visit next year as well.

The condo was fantastic! The view was the best I saw on the island. It was paradise. Thanks for the great time. Hanalei Bay Resort is totally fantastic. Waterfall pool! Viewing waterfalls and rainbows in the morning right from your bed. The colors explode around you. This was a great trip and I appreciated all the tips Chuck gave us to help maximize our time.

My family stayed at HBR this past August, in units 5201 & 5202 and we absolutely loved it. First of all, the property is just beautiful. It is like a manicured jungle, with a lagoon like pool with waterfalls and views of the bay from the open air lobby and restaurant. The unit is large, very clean and tastfully decorated. The kitchen is modern and easy to work in. The bedrooms are large and each has a clean and beautiful bathroom and there is a lanai off of each bedroom and the living room with absolutely spectacular views. There are also plenty of pool and beach toys available and three TV's in the unit. Everything was really perfect. There is no reason to stay anyplace else. We certainly would not. Enjoy!!

My six year old daughter and I, plus another couple had the pleasure of visiting this nice Island. Chuck made it an ease free vacation. I could not believe how nice he was. Very knowledgeable and just a great guy. We arrived to the beautiful resort at night and didn't get a real look at the property until the next day. 5202 was so conveniant to the pool and the tennis courts it was great. The pool is beautiful, nice walk to the beach, and an easy stroll to the front desk and Happy Talk. One of my daughter's favorite things was sitting on the lanei in the morning and having all the beautiful birds come eat right out of her hand. The view from there was absolutely beautiful and the rainbows were a site to see. I would highly recommend Chuck's place and would rent from him again.

Loved this unit, lots of room for us and our teenaged sons. It was so convenient to the pool and tennis courts but still very quiet and private. I loved that the boys had their own bedroom, bathroom refrigerator and entrance. We loved the incredible views from the huge balcony. The pool was beautiful and never crowded. I also loved the secret beach. Great snokeling right off the beach. Would return in a heartbeat.

We just got home from our vacation in Kauai and already miss it. We enjoyed most our stay on the north side of the island at the Hanalei Bay Resort in unit 5201-5202. The view is magical and really makes you feel like you are in a story book. The proximity of the unit to both the big pool and tennis courts was great. We also walked down the path to the beach. Great snorkeling. It was a very comfortable and convenient place. The booking process was also very smooth. Had a great time, thanks Chuck

We stayed in this BEAUTIFUL unit from May 12th to the 17th. The booking process was very easy & Chuck is a pleasure to do business with. He is extremely helpful & is very knowledgeable about things to see & do on Kauai. The resort is OUTSTANDING, everyone was very helpful & always had a smile. We had 6 adults & the unit was very comfortable for all of us. It was clean and very nicely decorated. The view from the lanai is breathtaking.

thrilled with everything about this particular
accommodation at Hanalei Bay Resort (5302/02).
Everything inside the unit was comfortable, nicely
decorated and well kept. I consider myself a
connoisseur of great vistas and the one from this
lanai is truly an ALLSTAR VIEW! Before I left, I
explored the entire grounds admiring the truly
exquisite layout of everything from the magnificent
serpentine pool with it's many waterfalls to the
lovely landscaped walk down to the beach. I was
traveling with an artist and we both agreed, our
morning coffee on this lanai was almost like a fairy
tale, too beautiful for words!

We had a great stay in January 2009. We've stayed at Hanalei Bay three times previously but we enjoyed this unit the most. Loved the view, and the convenient location (just steps away from the main pool, and overlooking the other pool).

We had a wonderful stay in HBR 5202 in January of 2009. The condo had all the amenities of home and was exactly as shown online. Wonderful location, great resort, and an unbelievable view from the condo. Fantastic lanai to enjoy the view. Great to have AC as we found many resorts don't have it. Staff at the resort was very friendly and accomodating. A great place to vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at HBR 5201/2. The unit has an ideal location, and relaxing view of the mountains and of Hanalei Bay. In the closet there were boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs and coolers. Which was a bonus! We are hoping to return next summer.

We stayed unit 5201/5202. This is the most beautiful place. Updated and remodeled with lovely furnishings. The view was outstanding. This particular unit was the best one we've seen at the complex. We visited several others, just to "look" but 5201/5202 was far superior.
