This particular condo, Unit 109, was fantastic. It is one of only 5 units in the entire complex that is ground floor and oceanfront. The yard for the other 4 units is all connected, but this particular one benefits from having a "front yard" that is practically to itself, so we
didn't need to worry about our 18 month old bothering anyone when he ran around outside. It was perfect. We were able to sit outside and eat our meals or have drinks and watch for humpback whales, sea turtles, sunsets and rainbows. We had the same view from a huge picture window inside the living room area of our condo, and the inside of the condo was even nicer than it looks in the pictures! Plus, the location was great, a quick walk to the playground, Bad Ass Coffee and the Farmer's Market.

The view the location of this condo offers is undescribable. You have a full view of the Pacific from the living room, dining table, lanai, front door step and hallway leading to the unit. Wow! The sound and vibrations of the waves beating against the seawall are somewhat therapeutic-so relaxing. The manager's of this unit make sure that you have everything you could possibly need by keeping the kitchen fully furninshed. They even had items for if you wanted to use the BBQ pits that were on the property by the pool area. In the guest bedroom closet, to our surprise, we found boogie boards, beach mats, and pool toys, even some beach chairs, and beach towels. A little south of the condo is a Star Markets grocery store within walking distance, as well as an ABC store, and some Farmer's Market's and deli's. A bit north (still walking distance) of the condo is a nice beach. The surf is mostly calm, & there seemed to be plenty of beach to relax on (parking at the beach access lot can be a tight squeeze, but if you go early enough you might be able to get a spot closer to the main road). The pool & sun deck don't seem to get used much, but that makes it even nicer. I think my only complaint about this unit was that the bathrooms were pretty small. I joked about how I could sit on the toilet and take a shower at the same time. That was easily overlooked. The vanity areas of the bathroom area were spacious and well-lit. My husband, and a couple friends visited Maui last week (5/23-5/27), and from our lanai were able to watch a school of sea turtles ride the waves. The neighbors were really friendly (their adorable little girl, who had just turned 6 months old was precious) and were willing to offer recommendations on restaurants and bars, etc. Many of the nearby units were being rennovated, so it was a pretty private stay. Maui nights on the lanai, with the sound of the ocean, and tropical tradewinds made this a very relaxing vacation. Can you tell I miss this unit? Be sure to leave a journal entry when visiting, they can be found in the kitchen and living room. Congrats to you if you have the opportunity to visit.

Awesome condo.......Sit on the lanai and watch the turtle come by for breakfast on the reef while you drink your morning coffee!!! Perfect place for whale watching and partying!!!We go back every year.......suzie
