Vacation Rental Home Description

Elegant family reunion, group retreat house in peaceful community close to beach with indoor and outdoor pools, only 5-minute drive to Atantic ocean beach state park where parking is available. House is designer-decorated with 6 bedrooms, den, 5 bathrooms, and large greatroom with cathedral ceiling for family gatherings. Located at 730 Fox Tail Road. House decor is country crafts, quilts, and nautical decor with all new wicker and solid wood furniture from North Carolina. Formal dining room seats 14 with 8 more at kitchen dining table. House has 8 cable TVs and 7 DVD/VCR players. Collection of DVD/VHS tapes stored in house and board games for children. Large vack yard and patio area has three picnic tables, chairs, a swing, and large gas grill. Parking available at the house for 7 cars. Extra parking is available at the clubhouse.


Renting this house is like renting a beautiful, spacious bed-and-breakfast house that will impress your friends and family.


Located in quiet, private wooded setting with view of wetlands. Beautiful state park Atlantic ocean beach is easy to reach nearby with swimming and full amenities, including large parking lot, snackbar, lifeguards, umbrella rentals, and bathhouse. Community amenities, three blocks from house, include indoor and outdoor pools, baby pool, snackbar, jacuzzi, tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball, playground, shuffleboard, pingpong, exercise room, pro shop, clubhouse, and stocked fishing pond. For a fee you may use the miniature golfcourse, video arcade, practice golf driving range, PGA instructional golf center, and 18-hole golfcourse.



House was built so that it can be accessed by the handicapped and elderly. There is room to sleep 22 people and formal dining table seating for 22. Two of the bedrooms are on ground level for use of grandparents or handicapped. All king-sized beds can be split into two twin beds. All bedrooms have music CD players, TV's, and alarm clocks.

Bedroom # 1: grandparents' room - comfortable queen-sized bed, desk, dresser, TV/DVD/VCR, phone, private bathroom with shower

Bedroom #2: King-sized bed and full-sized bed with upper bunk, dresser, TV/VCR

Great room: two queen wicker sleeper couches, 5 armchairs, TV/VCR/DVD, powerful stereo with CD/cassette tape player/radio, dining table for 14, and buffet with drawer storage

Eat-in kitchen: dining table for 8 and fully stocked with fine china, serving pieces, and cookware for serving 22 people formal dinners.

Upper level:

Master bedroom # 4: King-sized bed and two twin beds, dresser, desk, TV/DVD, phone, large walk-in closet, private bathroom with shower

Bedroom #6: King-sized bed, dresser, desk, TV/DVD/VHS

All king-sized beds can be pulled apart to make two twin beds. Bed linens for all bedds and sleeper couches are available, stored in house, but must be washed prior to departure. Some towels are available for people who fly in. Laundry room is on lower level.

Other Vacation Rentals Information: Owner Comments: Taxes and the pool/tennis recreation fees are already included in these rates. Off-season departure cleaning is additional at $160. Off-season weekends are a 3-night minimum only. The price is the same whether you stay 2 or three nights. Peak summer season is a one-week minimum stay, Saturday to Saturday. Some major Holidays are a 4-night minimum stay and may have higher rates. Any nights beyond the 4-night minimum holiday stay drop back down to the regular rates. You will need to add $190 to the total amount to hire the summer cleaning service, which is mandatory for a 2008 summertime rental. Payment Options:  Money Order  Cashiers Check  Personal Check Deposits: $100 deposit to reserve weekend rental followed by 50% of total amount within one month of reservation, followed by balance due 5 weeks ahead of rental date. Lodging Tax: 0% Cleaning Fee: $165.00 Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation fee is 15% of total rental amount. Other Fees: Peak-season and major holiday renters of Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends will need to add $165 for a cleaning fee. The local rental tax and recreation fees are already included in all of these rates. Check In: 11:00AM Check Out: 5:00PM Required Stay: Weekends are 3-night minimum. Other Property Features & Appliances: Great room has 37" HDTV with premium movie channels. Den has cable HDTV. Den has DSL internet access for your laptop computer. Off-season renters have use of community indoor pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, ping-pong room,tennis courts, and stocked pond for fishing. 18-hole golf course and driving range are open year-round for a fee. Peak-season renters have use of community outdoor pool, baby pool, and other resort amenities. Outdoor pool and baby pool (in summer), playground, basketball court, volley ball, clubhouse, snackbar, and Bed linens provided for all beds and sleeper couches. Other Attractions: Shopping nearby at huge Delaware tax-free outlet mall with 100's of shops. Beautiful Delaware Seashore State Park beach is nearby with umbrella rentals, restrooms, snack bar, life guards, and plenty of parking
