Nice home located deep within a 17 acre private lot. The home is very well maintained. It is a very picturesque, heavily wooded property with the north branch of the Embarrass River running through the backyard. Great place to get away from it all. When the time comes to head to town, Shawano is located just 20 minutes away. There you can find everything you need. If you want a night of excitement, the North Star casino is located just 10 minutes away. Stock car racing is held in Shawano on Saturday nights. Visit the links below for Shawano attractions and the casino. Renters must be at least 21 years old or accompanied by parent or guardian. We called Jerry at the last minute to rent for an overnight stay. He was more than accomodating and the rental was much, much more than we expected. It was PERFECT! Private and secluded. We, once again have enjoyed this excellent vacation spot. The owner Jerry is so very nice and has everything perfect and more so for a great place to relax, enjoy nature, wildlife, fishing, the river and woods are breathtaking. We, go here with our grandchildren, our 13 year old son would just love to stay forever as would we. You, will feel so at home as well as relaxed we have made this a regular on our list we have enjoyed this wonderful property time & time again.

We, spent the most wonderful week on vacation here. Unbeleivable, how very nice the own Jerry has things for his guess, everyone who goes can only appreciate the beauty on it all, word do not express the relaxed and comfortable feeling one has while staying here. Everything, was just perfect, this will be on our list to visit many times over. I pray everyone who goes does do their part to help keep entire home and land as lovely as it is.

My husband, grandson (3 yrs old), myself and two friends can honestly say this was the most relaxing vacation spot we have been to in a very long time. The river behind the house, the scenery, and the hikes through the woods was awesome. This area is very secluded and quiet. Excellent place for just relaxing. We can't wait to come back. The pictures that we took of the place has been shown to all of our friends and they were amazed how beautiful it was. My grandson was able to expore the beautiful nature of the woods, river, plants, rocks, and the animals. He hasn't stop talking about his summer vacation. It was a great experience to share with everyone. Thanks Wisconsin and Jerry for the great hospitality. Can't wait to come back.

A great place to get away from it all. The accomodations were small but nice, but what really made this an ideal refuge was the property. The woods and the river were gorgeous, and there was an abundance of wildlife. We had a very peaceful and relaxing vacation, thank you. I definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I just returned from a weeks stay at this vacation rental. The photos don't do it justice. It is very secluded and private. We never saw another person all week. This is just what we wanted for our vacation. Everything we needed was there for us to use. If you want to be totally alone this is the place. I am sure we will come back again next year.
