Vacation Rental Home Description

This private, air-conditioned 2 bedroom lakeside cabin, nestled among thousands of acres of public forests and lakes is now offered to the public. The cabin is located in northwestern Wisconsin in Washburn County about 22 miles north of Rice lake. This cabin is situated on a 103 acre lake recognized as one of the best early fishing lakes in the area and serves as a spawning area for Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye and panfish. In 2005 DNR removed the minimum size limits on Large and Small Mouth bass on this and Long Lake; seems the over abundance of these large bass are proving detrimental to the Walleye stocking program!! The lake is appended, by a navigable channel, to Long Lake; a deep 3400 acre lake that provides excellent fishing later in the year. The cabin boasts a large screen porch. The modern fish-cleaning house is equipped with running water, GFI electrical outlets and a refrigerator for bait and drinks. The 40' boat dock is available to moor your boat at no additional cost, the dock has a GFI electrical outlet and a battery charger is available for use at no extra cost. A fire pit and firewood is available for cooking and evening camp fires. The lake, because of structure, is not suitable for swimming. The cabin is available from May 1 through November 1 each year, please check the reservation calendar for available dates.

The balance of payments, payable in U.S. dollars only, are due upon arrival. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be made 15 days in advance. Prepayments, other than deposits, will be refunded with timely cancellation. Check In: 3:00PM Check Out: 11:00AM Required Stay: Three consecutive days minimum Other Property Features & Appliances: A 16' boat with a 25hp electric start motor is available and includes fish locator, PFD's and necessary boat equipment. Rental fees are $450 per week or $75 per day and includes filling the 6 gallon gasoline tank once daily and charging the batteries as necessary. Other Attractions: Many ATV trails, call for local and state regulations and registration information. ATV rentals available in nearby Birchwood for riders over 16 years old.
