TOTEM beach RETREAT is a fully furnished
condominium located directly on the water at Tulalip
Bay/Port Susan of Puget Sound featuring direct 180
degree vistas of Puget Sound, Hat, Whidbey and
Camano Islands.
ACCOMODATIONS: Each of the large bedrooms
are appointed with a luxurious king size bed. There
is a full service kitchen with dishes, pots and pans,
an ice maker, microwave, and a full array of top of
the line appliances. Guests are invited to start the
day by drawing a fresh shot of espresso, a cafe
latte, or Italian blended coffee from the easy to use,
cartridge based, commercial grade Lavazza Point
Espresso Machine located in the unit. There are
black granite countertops and lovely travertine
mosaic floors throughout the main living area. The
bathroom is fully tiled with dragon scale marble
imported from China.
COMPLETE RELAXATION is facilitated by the
flames and warmth of a large propane fireplace
located in the living room, where you can cuddle
up with a book on the L-shaped chocolate leather
sofa set. You can also enjoy the soothing,
massaging waters of a two person jacuzzi tub and
steam shower room having wonderful views of
Puget Sound.
AMENITIES: You can escape without worrying
about missing your favorite TV show or sporting
events as there is a Premium Channel Direct TV
feed into a 1080P Sony Bravia flat screen
television. There is a DVD player, complete
with an in-house library of popular films, for enjoying
a movie at the end of the day.
More than a picturesque escape, Totem beach
Retreat includes a large entertainment size patio
with a stainless steel propane barbeque and a tiled
fire pit surrounded by comfortable chairs for outdoor
picnics and gatherings. Direct access to the beach
front and surrounding water, teaming with blue
herons, king fishers, seagulls, otters, sea lions,
grey whales (February-May), ducks, bald eagles,
salmon, and Dungeness crabs is ONLY STEPS
AWAY.
KAYAKING: Guests are encouraged to bring their
Kayak or Canoe or navigate Tulalip Bay and the
surrounding waters in the retreat's world class,
tandem design Necky Amaruk Sea Kayak for a
modest additional fee of $20 per day.
Outfitted with both paddles and life vests, the
Amaruk is one of the top rated tandems for either
new or experienced kayakers. It wide 30" beam
combines stability and comfort with high-end
performance (20' feet of ruddered assisted tracking)
to get you where you're going with minimal
effort. This user-friendly, indestructible rotomolded
design kayak is well-suited for take-offs and
landings throughout the rugged, shell strewn
beaches of the surrounding waters. Kayaking
enthusiasts who prefer a single seat vessel are
encouraged to inquire regarding availability.

serene, location ideal for quick get-a-ways from the
Seattle metropolitan area. Located just 30 minutes
north of the city of Seattle and 5 miles off of
Interstate 5.
