Breathtaking Sunsets!!! Come and stay at this lovely vacation home in beautiful Brown's Point. Set on a 90 ft. cliff, this waterfront property has a gorgeous, unobstructed sweeping view of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, several islands and city lights.
This comfortable two level home is designed as a duplex with completely separate units. The home for rent has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The living room has a wood-burning brick fireplace for cool evenings & large picture windows with a private deck to enjoy magnificent views of the historic Brown's Point Lighthouse, abundant wildlife, and the ever-changing Puget Sound.
The large full kitchen opens to the dining/living room area for entertaining. Wonderful cedar decking with patio furniture and b.b.q. grill to relax after a day of sightseeing. Watch the lovely sailboats, tugboats, and ferryboats go by your doorstep. The sights and sounds of nature abound. Watch bald eagles soar by, sealions play, and listen to the sound of water gently lapping on the shore below.
Comfortable furnishings allow you to feel at home. A very friendly neighborhood cat may be enticed to share your outside deck.
Shopping and several great restaurants close by, such as the Cliff House, Saltys, and the Lobster Shop. Dash Point Park, and the Brown's Point Lighthouse Park are just down the road for beach walks and nature hikes.

The Lighthouse View rental was perfectly located - the views from the apartment's living room and deck are spectacular. The local amenities are too many to name - but the Dash Pt state park and Tacoma (Ruston Way) waterfront are two areas where you can really enjoy. The Point Defiance Zoo and park are also amazing. The diner is a great place to eat - and Gino's Bistro has a wonderful "small town" feel with great food and libations. Thanks again to the Hughes for a great value and wonderful month of memories! Browns Point Lighthouse and Dash Point State Park are each a reasonable walk for a day's outing , and Seattle and Tacoma are easily accessible by car. Each night, the sunset was a little different, and we spent many an evening sitting on the private deck watching the boats, the sun, the birds and the lighthouse, and generally enjoying the gorgeous view. This house is truly a home away from home.
