John & Kathi,
We had the most wonderful time ever at your beautiful home. It was the best vacation ever, peaceful, relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a greater gift than to spend our vacation with our best friends at your home on St. Croix. Everything was perfect! Going to sleep and waking up to the wonderful sound of the ocean and the view right out your bedroom window, being able to walk right out of your bedroom onto the veranda, to the pool with the ocean in the background, these are life time memories. Not having to go out if you don't want to because everything you need is right there, WOW! We were blessed. The island was the most pleasant, the people were nice. No rush, rush. We will recommend to all who will listen! You are a blessing, we will recommend to all.

The views are gorgeous. The house has everything we needed to have yummy lobster and slushies during our visit. The pool and breezes are perfect in the wonderful heat of St. Croix. Internet access is also a wonderful plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and John is the perfect host. The beach with the
shells is awesome and really beautiful. We brought home beautiful shells and coral. Thank you for your gracious hospitality on our 4th visit to St.
Croix.

Dear John,
Many, many, many thanks. We had a wonderful time at your beautiful home in St. Croix. With the exception of our extremely long day to arrive and floundering attempts to find our way out of the complex in the dark that first night (thank God for America), the week went off without a hitch.
We took some time to peruse the guest book and have to agree that the views from the villa are stunning. We spent many hours by the pool just enjoying the view. I have to say that our one disappointment was that we didn't see any of those darn sea turtles that everyone was talking about. I did scare the dickens out of a mongoose one morning as I took a short stroll along the cliff.
St. Croix is a lovely island. We enjoyed the people we met and exploring the other side and east end. Our trip to Buck Island (went with Big Beard as suggested) was great. We enjoyed shopping in Christensted and had great meals at Blue Moon, Beach Side Cafe and Le St. Tropez in F'sted.
As to the house, I think you have it very well provisioned. No doubt things get broken and lost. You were a little low on spoons and I think some more plastic glasses would be great. I always hestitate to use real glass, its so easily broken. The deck furniture was wonderful, love those little tables that come off the chairs. We took down the number so that we can check them out for our pool here someday.
We met Bob, he is very nice. He brought over the guy to put in the internet access. I guess he hadn't been feeling well following some eye surgery and he apologized for not checking in with us sooner. Just so you know, when we got there the deck chairs had not been locked up so we left it as it was when we departed.
Many thanks again for all your help prior to our visit. I seem to have misplaced America's e-mail address. Do you have it by any chance. I would like to thank her for her help. I'm sure she thought we were utterly hopeless that first night, but we were so tired and next time will definitely take advantage of provisioning the house before we get there.
Thanks for helping us to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation.
With warm regards,
Mary

Southern Exposure was by far the best villa we have visited and we plan on coming back again. One week is NOT enough. The villa is beautifully spacious and the views are breath taking. The pool is the Best...
St. Croix is big enough to have fun and be among people and also small enough to offer that special time to be just as relaxed as you can be and let the beauty overtake you.
We had the best possible time.

We just got back from the most awesome vacation I have ever experienced. My husband and I and 2 friends had the time of our life. St. Croix is beautiful. The people are really lovely. The villa is awesome--perfectly located and has every amenity. We got to meet Isabelle, the artist who painted all of the artwork in the villa--what a sweet lady. The The beach was small, but really cool. The home was very private. Snorkeling was the best I've ever seen. The food was the best. I'm going back for two weeks next winter!!

We spent our honeymoon at Southern Exposure and we cannot say enough good things about this house or Dr. Beyers.
We did all the things that tourists do, but sitting on the back porch, pina colada in hand, overlooking our private pool to the beautiful Carribean sunset...Heavenly!
By the end of the week you will have plans that you wish you could break just to stay home and sit by the pool. You'll see what I mean.

What can we say in 5 minutes to describe 7 incredible days. The rum is great - keep it flowing!
Six friends - it was great. Wish we didn't have to leave. We have left this to the last minutes but at the end of your stay you'll feel the same way. Enjoy

Repeating what had been written thus far, the house is amazing. We were never for want of anything. America met us at the airport and was gracious and wonderful. We spent most our days laying in the sun, listening to great music & reading with a refreshing cocktail nearby. We did make it out and recommend:
Sailing to Buck Island (we liked the morning sail & snorkeling. Take lunch.
Dinner at Indies for a treat; dinner at Boz's for laid back, shorts & flip flops are fine.
A trip to Point Udall, there are amazing views & scenery. Stop by Cheeseburgers in Paradise on the way for lunch.
Shopping in Christiansted, shops close at 5:00
Thank you so much for creating this special place!

Had an excellent week despite the strangest weather on the island this time of year! The house is absolutely beautiful, the location great, and the view picture-perfect. From our initial contact with Cathy and Scott to our last check-in from Virginia (the maid), the hospitality has been more than expected. Thank you and all involved for one of the most pleasurable vacations we've had - we hope to return someday. P.S. Absolutely great accommodations for my handicapped father.
