Casabella is a great house for a large group. It is well designed and beautifully furnished. The backyard is very nice and a great place to relax and play. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and BBQ'ing on the patio. The location is great, close to the beach and out of the crowds. We had 5 teenagers and they really enjoyed both the pool and the well-stocked XBOX library of games. And, the owners were great and easy to deal with--Thank you Gina!

We just returned from a wonderful vacation at Casabella in June, 2006. Casabella is a wonderful "home" that is very enjoyable! We enjoyed a brief walk from the house to a generous public beach area. The pool was a dream, very private and large with a hot tub that will seat several people! Lush landscaping that had a "Hawaii" feel. Lots of seating on the patio upstairs and down. I was very impressed with the furnishings, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need! Beds are comfortable with wonderful designer linens. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in relaxing in Padre without the crowds that the condos and/or hotels bring. The owners are wonderful as well! If we return to Padre, we will return to Casabella!

The house was a dream!!! It was very nicely decorated and just had everything we could want. It was in walking distance to the beach and the pool was fantastic. We went during the summer (July) of 2004 when it was hot but when we sat on the second floor patio, the breeze made it cool there, no matter what time of the day. My family fell in love with the house. As a matter of fact, they continously say they want to go back to the house (no mention of South Padre Island, just the house). Oh and the owners were wonderful!!!!

the house was wonderful! it was very nice, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. the kitchen really was well stocked...even better than my own house! we got good use out of the hot tub, also. the back porch was oriented for a perfect view of the new year's eve fireworks that one of the local restaurant/bars had out over the water. i loved it!

Extremely comfortable home -- we settled into very quickly! Nice quality things (furniture,appliances,linens,dishes)
Great pool area with bar-b-que pit and plenty of patio furniture.

If you want an experience to remember this is the beach house to chose at South Padre Island. I have stayed at various condos and villas at the beach and this one is my absolute favorite. It is the ideal "getaway" for anyone, any age. From the amazing beauty of the house to the privacy of the pool, you feel right at home with all the items needed that sometimes we seems to leave home without. The best part about this house is the comfort and space, and no doubt the POOL!! I recommend this beach house to anyone who is looking for a true one of a kind vacation at South Padre Island.
