I don't know where to start. We traveled 7 hours with 5 kids and when we arrived to this cabin it was a huge disappointment. We stayed the 2nd week in July and there were father's day balloons in the cabin which tells us that it hadn't been cleaned. The dust, dirty, and cob webs also confirmed that for us. Many things through out the cabin were broke. The lint build up behind the dryer was a sure fire hazard. The screened in porch is not at all safe for children. The back deck wasn't either because the banister was loose. We had to make a trip to Walmart to buy bed sheets because we didn't want to take a chance that they had not been cleaned.(They surely didn't look like it) The landscaping had not been touched in weeks. They give you one outside trash can for a cabin that sleeps up to 16, not to mention that we were there for 9 days and no trash company came to pick up the trash.
I called the owner right after we arrived and he said that he would give us a full refund and we can find somewhere else to stay. After reading the guest book he knew that this cabin looked like this and I feel that they hoped that we would be ok with it. He offered us a refund for the cleaning fee and a little more so that we could go out and have dinner on them. However it has been 2 weeks and we still have yet to see a refund.... I would never never recommend renting any cabin off of these people. I have pictures to back-up all of this..
