we rented #2 cabin and it was beyond charming then the pictures. I wanted someplace where my family could get together for our christmas the weekend after. This cabin was wonderfully decorated. They even left the tree us so the grandkids got to have another christmas with us. Hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. I will diffantly telling my friends about this cabin. and we will be coming back. thanks again Rose

Jim, Absolutely loved the place, It was 10 times better than the pictures. Everything you could want and more while away from home. Watching the deer out back every morning and evening was so very relaxing. Can't wait to come back and visit again. Judi B.

Jim, Your place was perfect for our little trip, we all wished we had more time for a longer stay. Thanks so much, you two have done a great job creating a quality place with great tasteful decorating too. I will certainly be recommending it to friends from Cabela's where I work who I know will take good care of it. Thanks again, Dennis

This past long weekend I met my Minnesota teacher friends in South Dakota for our long MEA weekend. We stayed at this rental log home and loved it. We got up in the morning, had our coffee, talked, talked and talked lots more and watched the deer feeding outside on the green front lawn. We traveled to Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood and visited restaurants in Hill City. The rental home was spacious with bedrooms for all of us. It was neat and clean and most comfortable for the five of us. The area around and nearby is more beautiful than I remembered. All in all, a great choice for a visit to South Dakota. Mary Ann from Montana

Spacious, comfortable, relaxing, clean .... you will not want to leave this cabin. It is the perfect place to bring the family or get together with friends. If you like to walk or ride a bike, the Mickelson Trail is perfect. We stayed here with family in April and wore shorts one day and a coat the next. We grilled, relaxed outside while watching for deer, went to the winery, ate at a few great restaurants in town and walked a lot. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What an Awesome Cabin! The location was perfect! Walking distance to downtown, easy access to the Mickelson Trail, and plenty of wildlife within an eye shot! The cabin was clean, spacious and met all my expectations & more. I have stayed in many places, and this rates #1 on my list. I plan to return this summer! Enjoy your stay; you won’t be disappointed!

We have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world. Your cabin is one of the best! It had everything we needed; just like home. We stayed in October and enjoyed South Dakota's first major snow storm from the hot tub. We also enjoyed the visits from the turkeys and deer every morning. We will be back. Thank you for sharing your home.

WOW! what a great place. It is like being at home. Sure beats anyplace I have stayed at in the hills. I am coming back soon. It was really nice coming back to this cottage after a long day, clean, neat, spacious, relaxing, and great people to work with. Go here, you won't reget it.

Wow - what a great vacation home! Your cabin provides a warm environment - I especially enjoyed the unique hand crafted items. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had everything and more to make our vacation a great experience. Your place is nestled in a beautiful area - we even saw deer! - yet close to many areas like the Mickelson bike trail. This definitely is a top notch vacation home. We had a GREAT time and definitely plan to be back - Thanks!

What a wonderful family experience staying here. The cabin is decorated so warmly it feels like you are right at home. We were there at the end of March and spring was just beginning. It was great to come back to the cabin after hiking and exploring all day. The wildlife around the cabin was exciting to watch. The kids enjoyed watching movies and playing games. The hot tub was a relaxing treat. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was so clean. We will be repeat renters.
