The Penthouse was the ideal place for us to stay in the Black Hills. It gave us the freedom to roam the area at will. Although we came early season we had a great time. No queues in the State Park... and parking was easy everywhere. The Penthouse is rooom and we soon made it a home from home. The people in Custer are very friendly and always willing to offer advice about where to eat etc.
You can't go wrong by going here... we had 10 days of bliss...

We stayed at the penthouse during our thanksgiving break. It is a lovely
older home that was spotless, beautifully decorated, spacious and completely
updated. We really enjoyed our stay. We liked the fact that it was also pet
friendly and we were able to bring our dog along. It was nice to be close to
all the SD attractions. Toni was wonderful to work with and there were no
hidden fees which was nice (something i have found in alot of VRBO
listings). I thought we got a great deal. I would stay again and would
recommend this destination to others. Thank you Toni!

My family and I rented the penthouse for a week while we vacationed in the Black Hills area. We loved the apartment....very nice and clean with lots of room. And we really enjoyed being right in the heart of town and close to so many Black Hills attractions. Would highly recommend it to others.
