Just two doors up and across the street is our deepwater dock on Hamlin Creek minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, Wild Dunes Marina (for gassing up; and fine dining at the Morgan Creek Grill), and small islands & creeks for exploring, crabbing, shrimping, fishing and fun. Wild Dunes is a world class resort located minutes away by car with two top golf courses! We have several casual and fine dining choices right here on our island, along with shopping, so you never have to leave!

Or take the day to explore our neighbors with Civil War Fort Moultrie on neighbor Sullivans Island. Or neighboring Mt. Pleasant with the USS Yorktown, or Charles Pinckney Home, or Boone Hall, former plantation and site of feature films. Dine on beautiful Shem Creek and watch the shrimp boats dockk and the sunset on the harbor. Also many national and local boutiques and shops, movie theaters, bowling, fun for families.

Or cross our Cooper River to historic Charleston, gem of the South, and take a carriage ride to see historic homes & gardens, shop at the open air market, antique, local and national shops, and end the day with a wonderful meal from numerous fine dining choices.

We invite you to unwind and relax in our charming beach house with glorious sunset views over Hamlin Creek. Up the stairs you will find a sunroom with a cozy wicker set, rocker and loveseat to enjoy the creek and sunsets, living w/queen sleeper sofa, chairs, and a 60 inch Toshiba TV w/cable & DVD; dining room, fully equipped tiled kitchen w/table for 2, master bedroom w/queen & TV, and guest bedroom w/2 twins, & one full bath w/tub/shower w/beach mural on walls and egret stained glass window.

Beach house has central heat&air, w/warm pine floors throughout most living areas, linoleum in kitchen, bath & sunroom; plaster walls, beadboard ceilings in bedroom and living room. Step out to the back deck w/gas grill, table and chairs for watching burgers cook and children splashing in pool. Small set of steps down to deck and access above ground pool, a basic 18' round, 4' deep. Down the back OUTSIDE steps is downstairs "rustic" apartment, much like finished basement, w/kitchenette w/stove, microwave & frig, table & chairs, bathroom w/shower, foozball table, queen sleeper sofa, 27" TV w/DVD, games, and washer/dryer. Through door and few steps through beach toy storage area is large bedroom w/queen bed. Back yard is fenced.

Our deepwater dock is 2 houses up & across the street w/expansive views of Hamlin Creek & peek views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Our 8x20 floater has 3+ feet of water AT THE FRONT TOWARD CREEK at normal or 0/0 low tides, and the back of floater towards street at normal or 0/0 low tide can be in mud. A 16x12 covered pierhead w/hammock keeps the sun off, and you are able to swim at high & medium tide, (not recommended at low tide because of oyster shells and pluff mud), fish, crab & enjoy the dock without ever leaving ... or bring your boat and explore our creeks, neighboring islands, ocean, fish, wakeboard and ski. Be mindful of tides, published daily in paper. Also: Currents can be strong in both ocean & Hamlin Creek!

Please note the deep water dock is shared with one other nice local family. You have full use of dock at all times. Please respect their property on dock.
