Beautiful and great location!

Reviewed on 10/01/2014 for a stay in September 2014.

My sister and I decided to take a mini vacation and stayed in this condo for 3 nights. This was our first trip to the Isle of Palms and to Charleston. We loved everything about it. The condo was very nice, clean and spacious. There was nothing that we had to ask for, everything we needed was there. There were 3 extras in this condo that I haven't seen in other places I have stayed that I really loved. One being a ceiling fan in the bedroom, free Netflix (which was great for the evenings) and the balcony furniture was a bar top table and bar height chairs so you could actually see over the railing instead of having to look through it. (Great view!!) Anything you needed was right on the island. A grocery store within half a mile and just right down the street from the sea cabins (walking distance) were a couple of restaurants and shops. Probably about 5 miles away were tons of restaurants and shops and within about 10 miles you could be in Charleston. It was a perfect getaway and I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in the condo. The view from the patio looks directly out to the pier and the ocean. The pier access is for condo guests only, which is nice. We enjoyed walking on the beach most mornings.

As a couple, the condo worked well for our needs, and is close to the shops in Isle of Palms. It is a short drive to Mt. Pleasant for groceries and dining.

Internet access was a must for me, and both wi-fi and wired were available.

We would like to thank the owner for helping make our stay enjoyable.

Your stay will be amazing! You can hear the ocean as you're sleeping at night by cracking the sliding door to the patio overlooking the pier & beach. Each day my companion and I awoke to a beautiful sunset.

The units other highlights include a super comfortable tempurpedic bed, ample seating, a full kitchen, and easy access to the pool, beach, and pier. You can walk to a few local shops or drive just 5 minutes to Mt. Pleasant for anything you need not found there. Downtown Charleston is only about 20 minutes away if you want to forego the beach at some point. There's also a wonderful sunset dolphin tour I recommend.

Bottomline: My stay here was excellent. I plan to visit soon.

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and it was amazing. The view is incredible and I loved waking up each morning to a phenominal sunrise. The shops, restaurants, and convenient store are within in a very short walking distance. The one bedroom was quaint but perfect for a romantic getaway. Thanks for sharing your vacation condo with us.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this Sea Cabin that I stayed in for 4 nights. To start, the owner was extremely responsive to any questions I had upfront and payment as well as information exchange (codes for access and parking and such) was seamless. I’ve come to realize that the owners have a huge hand in making your trip to IOP, via a Sea Cabin, turn out well, or not so well.

The unit itself is well appointed. The fixtures were updated, the kitchen was well stocked, and the place had a clean smell and feel to it. Even the linens smelled home-washed and not that chemical/industrial washed smell that you sometimes get in hotels. The fact that this unit came perpendicular to the beach made for immense views from the front and rear of the cabin. Yes, the patio overlooks the parking lot, but the view of the beach was still outstanding. It is a bit on the smallish side and I would not put more than 2 adults (not even kids) in one. But the bottom line is Sea Cabin Unit 345 was affordable, clean, and a good deal for what you get. The Pier access, the pool access, the beach access, the downtown IOP access all for a good price. I’d definitely stay again.

P.s. Can you tell the cleaning lady that checkout is at 10AM, and not 9:40? That was kind of an irritation at the end of my stay.

We booked this last minute for a quick getaway to South Carolina. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at what we found. This Sea Cabin is very well appointed, has some cute little extras (A bucket of microwave popcorn in case you need a snack) and is located perfectly in the Sea Cabin property. The third floor location might be difficult for those who have difficult with stairs, but it is a SPECTACULAR view. We noted, looking around the property, that we preferred it to being 'head on' facing the ocean. You get a really lovely long view of the beach.

There are a few really lovely little places to eat within minutes on foot, so we never pulled our vehicle out once we arrived. Luke N Ollies was tasty, and they deliver if you want to eat on your balcony one night (we did) and Hucks is delicious for lunch.

The owners made the process really easy. There was no hassle with going somewhere to get keys, etc, as all the Sea Cabins are number locked, so you just arrive, punch in your code, and viola!

We had one small issue in that the door wasn't locking behind us when we left, and we didn't know how to MAKE it do so due to it being a keypad lock. That being said, we had the owners phone number and email, and they were VERY prompt with answers, we simply didn't ASK how to fix it because it wasn't important enough to us. It might be to someone else, which is why I mention it. For us, it felt like a lovely safe little area and we just didn't worry about it.

We (my husband, father, and myself) DID decide we'd like to return to Isle of Palms every year, and do so in the same Sea Cabin.

This condo is located on the great (and true) oceanfront location in Isle of Palm with pool and ocean view. The view is awesome. Only steps to both beach and ocean. The unit is clean and well-equipped. Highly recommended for a couple or a family with a few kids. Parking is closed by to the unit. We love it.

We enjoyed our girl's getaway! The condo is well furnished, comfortable, and in a great location. Terrific views, and we liked the proximity to the pier, shops, and restaurants. We are looking forward to a return trip!

So clean and feels like new! Our family really enjoyed our stay -- we had never been to Isle of Palms and loved the area. The view from the balcony and from the front of the condo was outstanding...beach on both sides! The fishing pier was great fun for my kids to watch the giant waves. We just wish the weather had been warmer or the pool heated, but otherwise, it was such a quiet and cozy place to stay. Very well stocked with everything you could need for the weekend or longer!

Great place to stay. Ocean view was beautiful - especially watching the sunrise. Close to Charleston and surrounding historical areas. My daughter and I were vacationing by ourselves and felt completely safe in the condo area and on the short walk to restaurants and shops. Really enjoyed being able to leave balcony door open and listening to the ocean all night. Also very very quiet area - unlike most hotels. Will definitely try to get back to the area and would stay in this unit again. Owners have provided every thing needed for a comfortable stay.

The condo and location was great. We were familiar with the Isle of Palms and Mt Pleasant, but still got to experience some new places to eat and shop. It was so relaxing to sit in the condo or on the balcony and view the ocean. We spent most of our time in Charleston, but more time there would have afforded us more time to find new places in Isle of Palms. Very special place! We will do this again!

Our family vacationed at this cabin in July of this year and were very pleased with everything about it. I was particularly impressed with the clean accomidations and given that I have two young boys who are not very neat, I loved having all the normal things required just as if we were at home (hand held vacuum & regular vacuum were wonderful to have around). Again very happy with the room, and the area that we stayed in. We plan on coming back again next year. Thank you so much for the ease of making arrangments and planning this vacation. We all enjoyed it.

My husband and I were looking for an affordable weekend away and we found this place. It had everything we wanted. It was clean and close to the beach(very close to the board walk to get to the beach), the ocean view was great (we really enjoyed the balcony). There were lots of conveniences: parking was easy, shopping, restaurants and rentals a short walk away. Since we live in Summerville, about 45 minutes from the coast, we didn't really care where we went for this weekend away...we just wanted something affordable, clean, convenient, and on the water. We searched Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, and other surrounding areas and this place was by far the best value we found. We will definitely return for our next weekend retreat!

Wow! Great Place to Stay!! Cannot beat for LOCATION, PRICE & Condition - Clean -Clean - Clean, on the Isle Of Palm. Thanks to you and your Husband!. We did not need much but nice to know that these owners were on call to meet our needs. Nice Clean Pool too. We are here NOW - brought our sons computer and wanted to say thanks before we leave and let folks know that this is a GREAT place to stay, in the AM. We will be BACK next year!! Try the One Eyed Parrot or Coconut Joes for great Food. We really did not have to use the car - everything you need in walking distance.
May 15, 2006 Diana Mistretta Silverlakes, California
My husband & I stayed in the unit from May 4th - May 12th, 2006 & I would like to thank the owners for their southern hospitality. The unit was perfect, very clean & stocked with the necessaties. The view from the balcony of the ocean & pool were fantastic. We ate at Coconut Joe's & Bananna Cabana, both were very good. We don't recommend the Red & White grocery store that is within walking distance unless it's for just a few items. There is a major grocery store about 3 or 4 miles from the unit. Everything was close enough without driving for 3 or 4 hours. The weather wasn't the best, only 1 full day of sunshine, but, only one day of rain, that didn't bother us though, We found plenty to do. We also liked the great security.
July 25, 2005 Tamara Matlock Davenport Iowa
We stayed in the unit for four days at the end of May. It was perfect. We ended up having guests and the condo was roomy enough for 3 adults and 3 children. It was very clean and the view was spectacular. We are hoping to stay there again soon.

Wondeful in all ways. Location is directly on the ocean. The grounds are well-kept. The owner is a pleasure to work with. This is a "can't miss" rental.
