Our recently refurbished Hickory Cove villa is a charming two-storey, pool view vacation retreat. Hickory Cove is on the bank of the eleven-mile lagoon system, ideal for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. The famous Hilton Head Island beach is only a five-minute walk from the villa, and you and your guests can enjoy the swimming pool located in the centre of the community.
The beautiful new furnishings in the living and dining room area will provide you with home-style comfort. The large deck surrounds two sides of the villa. Other features include a queen size sofa, TV and VCR in the living room. The fully equipped galley kitchen has a new refrigerator and stove, and full laundry facilities are in-house. Retire for the night in the king size four-poster bed in the large master bedroom, which includes an en-suite bathroom and TV.
On the second floor, the loft offers a comfortable desk area where you can read your e-mail messages or plan the day's activities. The guest bedroom is as large as the master bedroom, and contains two beds -- a queen and a twin, another en-suite bathroom and TV. Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on the upper balcony, overlooking the pool.
Linens and towels are provided. You need bring only your beach towels.

Villa Rentals Reviews for Beautiful Two-Bedroom Hickory Cove Villa in Hilton Head IslandJune 19, 2004Reviewer: WILLIAMS FAMILY From: CHESTER ENGLANDAs a family of 4 we visited the USA for the first time in April 2004 staying for a week at 22 Hickory Cove.In a word FANTASTIC,everything we hoped for and more.The villa was spacious, clean, well equiped,modern and comfortable with a deck overlooking the 18th hole of a manicured golf course.Heaven on Earth.The location was ideal for us with children of 10 and 12 in that the pool is seconds away and the gated community providing a safe and free environment.Palmetto Dunes is centrally located on Hilton Head so nowhere was too far to visit indeed with the bikes we were able to cycle the best part of the island with the beach a couple of minitues away.The little store was excellent for all our basic needs and only a couple of minutes away in the car or 5 on the bikes.Sporting activities were abundant and next time the golf clubs will be in the packing as it was not easy to watch the golfers enjoying themselves on the numerous courses nearby.The weather was lovely and about 79-80 Farenheit.We would recommend the kayaking trip from the Old Oyster Factory which was fun and there were indeed dolphins.A word of warning TAKE SUN CREAM for the head and legs.We were very taken by how everything was so clean and tidy and how polite everyone was with first class service everywhere,something which nowdays seems to be lacking in the UK sadly.We particularly enjoyed walking and cycling around the golf couse pathway before and after the golfers.Very peaceful and worth getting up early for.We so enjoyed our stay at 22 and are returning in 2005. We are a family of four (two very young children) who had a lovely week's holiday in Hickory Cove in June. It was our 1st visit to Hilton Head - and we were not disappointed (although we did have some rain). The location is perfect: 3 minutes by bike to the beach! The gated community sports shady, quiet roads that made us feel like long-time residents! For golfers (which we're not...), the house adjoins the 18th hole of the very first Palmetto Dunes course. For the 5 of us (all adults) the house was spacious enough, bright, inviting, equipped with every kitchen gadget we needed. The three tv sets are nice, but there's too much to do outdoors to waste time doing what one can do at home. However, it would have been nice to have a CD player (which we bought at the local Wal-mart). We used the outdoor grill and all appliances and felt right at home! For a quiet, relaxing beach vacation without the hassles (no need to search for beach parking!), I highly recommend #22 Hickory Cove! (Now, if we could only bring the dogs....)
