We got cell phone coverage on the front porch in June.
Apple Tree HideAway is WONDERFUL. Very quiet and peaceful, a wonderful place to come home to after a day at the beach, or just to relax on the river. ALL THE COMFORTS of HOME. Had more than we expected. We will definitely stay again when we come back to the area. Made our vacation even more wonderful than we hoped. Thank you!
We stayed recently at this quaint secluded cottage (June 2004). Our family of 5 loved every minute in this well-prepared little vacation home.
We fished across the street at the river which we could see from the front porch! Every day we were enraptured by the Smith River which we could see while relaxing in the living room out of 2 large windows. We loved the privacy and tranquility this cottage offered and appreciated the property owner who made sure every need was met but never interfered with our privacy!
We played almost every game in the cabinet and watched many of the movies. My favorite part of the house though was waking up before everyone else to take a walk along the roadside and river and then coming into the quiet cottage and sitting in the quaint kitchen (table for two) with my book and coffee. The cottage kept my crew sleeping in and I loved this quiet time!
It was a terrific time which we will always look upon with fondness. Lots of bugs though but that is what you get when you are near a forest such as this location.
