Stunning view, immaculate home that feels so much like home.
We had a perfect weekend, the weather could not have been
more beautiful, the lake fantastic. We had a gathering of
family and friends who were equally charmed and amazed at
this lovely home. The grandchildren want to return next year
and that is all the adults can think of as well. This was
the first time we had done this and are so glad we did. You
will love it there if you give it a try. Four days are not
enough. It is close to plenty of places to go and see, although we preferred to enjoy the home and lake. Super Place. July 28th through the 31st, 2005. We had a surprise
70th party there with family and friends, all were in awe
of how lovely and special this home is. Next year we will
hope to do just the two of us and the grandchildren. The decks are huge and comfortable with the lower one leading
right to the lake. The bedrooms are from very large to a
cute room just for kids. The kitchen flows to the table
and then outside to the deck. Many comforts and the initial
tour with the owners, all anyone could ask for. The only
thing missing was a guest book. I will purchase one for them
so anyone that stays there can share thank you's for sharing
some time in this super home.

Stayed at the house July 23-26 2004. The house is everything and more. It seems more like your own personal house than a vacation home. We had 4 families for a total of 15 people, seven of them being children under 8. Two of the bedrooms are big, I mean hotel suite size. All 3 the bathrooms we're great there was never a wait for one and having the full bath downstairs made it easy to wash kids off right out of the lake. The kitchen is ample and allowed the 8 adults to congregate there in the evening. The house being on a street that dead ends both ways allowed all the kids to ride there bikes without the threat of a lot of traffic. The beach is right off the deck. With the exception of the shells in the sand being a little hard on the feet it was great. All the kids wanted to do was dig in the sand and play in the water. We groomed the beach with a rake every morning to give it more of a resort look and feel. This also allowed us to get rid of debris that had washed up during the night so the kids wouldn't get into it. The lake was well above 80 degrees so the swims were enjoyable. The lake is about 4 feet deep even 20 yards out. The bottom is a soft silt out that far. The kids enjoyed playing in the big waves. We had north west winds coming off the lake and the waves were 2-4 feet. I've seen it calmer with south west winds, almost like glass it's so calm. There are plenty of TV's for kids and adults to watch. The VCR's and DVD's allowed all the kids to watch their favorite movies. The kids room has a bunk bed with the bottom bunk being a full size bed. Five of the children slept in this one room alone. There's plenty to do just 15 minutes away. We are already planning a second trip with a longer stay next time. One stunning sight is the sunrise and sunset over the water this time of year. This is the perfect house for a large family or family get together. You can tell it was set up for a large family from the intital planning stages. Other properties may be cheaper but your getting a lot of space with this house. Everyone wished the stay could be longer, but that's for next year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.<script src=h
