We just returned from a wonderful week at Treetops. It was our first mountain vacation and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The home was very nice, well stocked, and very comfortable.
The downstairs bedrooms and game room were perfect for our children while we enjoyed the two upstairs master bedrooms. We spend evenings on the deck overlooking the treetops.
We spent a lot of time at the lake kayaking, swimming, and fishing. We also took advantage of the local attractions. We hiked to the top of Grandfather Mountain, slid down sliding rock, swam at the base of a waterfall, and went white water rafting down the French Broad River.
I would definitely recommend Lake Lure and Treetops. We'll be back!

In June we spent a week at Treetops along with our daughter, son-in-law, their three-year-old and four other grandkids. It was a true family vacation and we had an incredible time. The house was perfect and the setting beautiful. We ate most of our meals outside on the deck surrounded by trees and spotted deer several times. Everyone enjoyed the pools, lake, and surrounding area. We rented a pontoon boat, went horseback riding,played golf,hiked at Chimney Rock, and even squeezed in a trip to Ashville! Thank you Carol and Bob, We will DEFINITELY be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at TreeTops. It was the most relaxing vacation we've ever had and the setting was wonderful. You felt as if you were in a tree house. The views are spectacular and sitting on the decks you can dream away. The activities are numerous - golf, tennis, swimming and hiking to name a few and then there's the fitness center! This is a fabulous house for children and adults. We loved having the bedrooms on the main floor and being able to walk out onto the deck through the bedroom sliders. The kids loved the playroom downstairs. The cool mountain air was a welcome respite from the hot Florida weather. Hope we can come again.

Treetops was a perfect mountain retreat for our two families. Our four children had the two downstairs bedrooms and large family/game room to themselves, and the four adults had the two master suites and living room. The house is cozy and very spacious. The kitchen is very well-equipped, and we enjoyed most of our meals out on the deck with trees all around us!
Everyone enjoyed the beach and recreation center which is just a short walk down the road. We canoed on the lake, swam in the pool and the kids played miniatute golf. Each morning "power-walked" the moluntain roads and took in the beautiful views. We took a day trip to Asheville, which is such an interesting town - we visited art galleries, boutiques and had a wonderful dinner. Another day we took the kids to Chimney Rock and to a gem mining!
We'll definitely be coming back!

We spent a long weekend Oct. 7th-10th. The house was lovely! We played golf, swam in the pool, and even found the time to visit the Biltmore. We loved the 2 master bedrooms on the main floor, and the location was perfect for watching the leaves turn in early autumn. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

What a blessing to have been able to be in the mountains(beautiful weather) for the Thanksgiving with all three children+spouses and grandchildren. We enjoyed lots of walks, lots of games, and lots of good food.
We stayed here for our second annual family get together. We enjoyed the house a lot. It had plenty of room for all 12 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had many meals on the deck. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. Thank you for letting us use your home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treetops. We enjoyed the outdoor pool daily and it was wonderful to vacation at a beach resort during July which was NOT crowded. Our children loved the Lake, our parents the fitness center and our two year olf feeding the ducks. We hope each family after us enjoys their vacation as much as we did. We had a wonderful visit. The house plan adapted to our needs beautifully!! We were here for a wedding. We enjoyed the reception facility and the wedding spot down by the beach. It was just beautiful. We loved this house. It is realy nice and has a homey feeling. While here the guys enjoyed the golf and the girls enjoyed the pool. We will come back here again. The house needs a stereo and maybe another ceiling fan. The kitchen is really well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treetops on the Mountain. Our family visited the Biltmore Estate on Wednesday. We enjoyed the outdoor pool daily. It was wonderful to vacation at a beach resort in July that was not crowded at all. Our children loved the lake and our parents the exercise facilities.
