We run a Friday to Friday week in order to save you wasted hours in the weekend traffic. The entire island (400,000+) turns over on Sat & Sun and is funneled into 2 roads. You'll coast in on Friday, do your shopping and be hanging around the pool while the other 400,000 are stuck in traffic.
On it's 23 foot elevation overlooking the majestic Atlantic ocean, Currituck Sound, Corolla Lighthouse & the famous Monkey Island SUNNYBANK boasts of the best views for 100 miles. We are located a short 2 miles up the beach in the 4 wheel drive area in the most exceptionally beautiful area of the Outer Banks. The local gas station, convenience store can be accessed in less than 5 minutes.
