Fall Creek Lodge is a true, four season resort that
combines the magnificent Grandview Lodge with other,
smaller cabins to offer accommodations to groups
from 4 to 80 people.
The Grandview is a unique, 6500 square foot Log lodge
built from gigantic, pine timbers imported from
Norway by the original owner.
Situated on Beech Mountain, near Banner Elk, North
Carolina, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, the
lodge is unparalleled in size and beauty in this area.
The lodge includes a huge deck with panoramic views
of Grandfather Mountain, the most famous scenic
element of this area. The deck is large enough to have
a party for your entire group, with part of it covered for
snowy or misty times.
Inside, the lodge has 10 bedrooms, in many
configurations, with enough beds to hold up to 50
persons, plus rollaways and futons to add to the
capacity. The top floor of the Jamestown cabin can be
rented in conjunction with the Grandview to give your
group enough room to sleep up to 70! There are six
full bathrooms. The huge living
room can accommodate a group meeting for all of the
guests. The living room also features Satellite TV, a
DVD player, VCR, Karaoke machine, fireplace and the
same beautiful view as seen from the deck.
The upstairs kitchen features two refrigerators, large
oven and enough cookware and dinnerware to feed
your whole group. There are three dining areas (one
with a fireplace) with tables and chairs enough to seat
30 people at a time.
Downstairs there is another kitchen and a small dining
area. A cozy living room includes a gas fireplace, pool
table, foosball table and Playstations for the kids (or
the young at heart).
There are three gas grills (to feed a large group at one
time) and a truly luxurious, 8 person hot tub with
mountain views.
Adjacent to the Grandview Lodge is the Jamestown
Cabin which can accommodate up to 14 guests. It has
its' own kitchen, fireplace, gas grill and hot tub, but it
is close enough to the Grandview to share all amenities
if both are being rented by the same group.
At Fall Creek Lodge you can have the advantage of a
secluded, peaceful "home" while remaining close to all
of the activities and attractions of this mountain
playground. We are within a short drive of all three
local ski areas... Beech, Sugar and Hawk's Nest. The
warm weather activities are all within minutes. In
addition the "indoor" attractions (including shopping
and browsing) are also within minutes in both Boone,
NC and Johnson City, TN.
Make sure to ask about the special deals we can offer
your group with ski rental Companies and Whitewater
Outfitters. We even have a special agreement worked
out with a wonderful Pizza restaurant, a Barbecue
restaurant, a "Home Cookin'" diner and a fabulous,
"Home Style" Italian restaurant nearby that prepare
lavish group meals at their facility for our guests at a
price that you can't beat.
We are also "Pet Friendly", but you must make the
arrangements with our reservations department at the
time that you reserve the facility. Make sure that you
work this out in advance to ensure that your pets will
be welcome.
