If you don't mind driving 15 minutes to get to the middle of Asheville or downtown or 25 minutes to the Biltmore Estate or Blue Ridge Parkway, then Newfound Cottage is all you could want in a private, secluded, romantic, "all home-like amenities included" vacation rental.
Newfound Cottage can easily be described as the perverbial cottage in the mountains. Driving up a mountain road that dead-ends in a hollow. There, a picturesque cottage is surrounded by mountain wilderness. Just 8.7 miles from the Asheville City Limits and 5.7 miles off of I-40. In 15 minutes you're in the middle of Asheville and 20 minutes be downtown.
A covered front deck and gazebo with hot tub outside the back door extends the outdoor living area. You'll love sitting out on the front deck listening to all the sounds and looking at the mountain tops across the way. Newfound Cottage is 1400 sq. ft. 2 story vacation rental. There are 2 master suites, one on the main floor the other upstairs. One of the original "loft" bedrooms uses the full bathroom downstairs. There is an electric fireplace in the living room, a "woodstove-style" set of gas logs in the dining area for winter ambience. There is a fully equiped kitchen with bar/peninsula that seats 2. The dining area seats 4. The living area comfortably seats 6 with a full sofa and 2 loveseats. Satellite TV (DirecTV), combo DVD/VCR/CD player, some DVD library can entertain you after being out 'n about during the day. A tongue and groove cathedral ceiling soars above and continure into the upstairs master suite. Indoors or out, you'll think you've found a little piece of heaven. Pictures simply don't do Newfound Cottage justice. A mountain vacation is unlike any other you'll ever experience. You won't believe this place until you get here!
