Large lake front home on beautiful Lake George New
York. Situated in a quiet bay with the Adirondack
Mountains as a backdrop. This turn of the century
home features a large screened in porch that looks out
onto the water. Extra large great room with a classic
fieldstone fireplace provide for sheer enjoyment.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen and all linens
are provided. You only need to bring your suitcases,
hiking shoes, bikes and boat. We also include a slip for
up to a 25 foot boat.
The house is located on Pilot Knob Road on the east
side of the lake. About 8 miles from the village of Lake
George.

We were there in August, 2010. The house is clean, nicely furnished, well equipped and sits right on the water. It has a nice front lawn where young children can play and a wonderful screened in front porch for sitting, reading, and eating. The beds were very comfortable. We loved that it was in a bay because the boats going by could not go faster than 5 miles per hour, so while there was lots of interesting boat traffic, it was not noisy. There was good fishing, and the owner was generous in letting us use his kayak and paddle boat. The owner is friendly and helpful and the rental process was smooth. We got that and so much more. The house was spacious and the perfect place for a family gathering. The weather was perfect. We shared so many family memories new and old with cookouts in the yard, paddle boat rides, swinging in the hammock, Goony Golf, The Great Escape, and gathering on the large porch overlooking the lake. My son, his wife and 2 sons, along with my wife and I spent a wonderful week at this lovely home in mid June of 2004. The weather was better than expected. We took the Grandchildren to Storytown or currently known as Great Escape. It was there 50th anniversary, I was there the year it opened, I was seven years old. Recently renovated, we found the home to be emaculate, with a wonderful porch, and french doors along the front and one side, providing great ventilation. Anyone unfamilar with Lake George will be pleasantly surprised by its beauty, size and the clarity of its water. The home is located a short drive from Lake George village. The owner was helpful and available, and the rental process a breeze. We had a wonderful time, great weather, and we would rent this property again without reservation.
