The previous reviewer Katrina said it perfectly. This is a very family/kid friendly rental property with plenty of space for our family of 6. Mountain Lakes is a great location. The beach area, just a short walk (or canoe ride!) down the road, was the perfect thing for our 5 year old. She made lots of friends and had the time of her life. Our moody teenagers found themselves considerably less so because they had the freedom of just being able to walk out the back door and go canoeing/fishing/swimming/sun bathing at their leisure. The lake water was warm (in august at least) and clean. The Owner, Chris, was very friendly and easy to deal with. You can fish off the dock. a fish every time. It was a big place and the best location. The lake and parks where wonderful and people where very friendly. Snack shop at the beach and very safe for older kids to just walk around like they were in summer camp.We are staying this july at this location again. My youngest is older so she will do better on the stair ways in the home. Owner was very helpful and nice when we needed anything. I let him know that the kitchen needed a little bit of extra cleaning. but other then that it was a great place to stay. would go back every year,unless we end up building our own place on the Lake.
