Bear Canyon cabin has two cabins to choose from: Bessie's or the Homestead.
Bessie's cabin, a historic cozy cabin, features a private outdoor hot tub, two bedrooms with log queen beds, quality linens, a full bath with a claw foot tub/shower, a Hearthstone wood stove, dining table with seating for four, a very well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, western artwork and unigue historical photographs and articles.
The Homestead cabin is a handcrafted custom home built in 2000 with lots of amazing details. Full of large windows, the views of the surrounding forest and mountains are spectacular. The master bedroom has a queen bed and attached tile bath with a walk-in double-headed shower. French doors lead to the stone path and private hot tub. A second bedroom has a stone fireplace and queen and full beds, along with a wall full of books. The great room features oak floors, large stone fireplace, moose rack chandelier, dining area for six and custom kitchen. Leaded glass windows and faux ceiling painting add to the beauty of this amazing cabin.
Both cabins can be rented and opened up to create one space for larger groups -- total with both cabins is a 3,000 sq. ft home with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.
Located in the great out-of-doors in a secluded yet accessible mountainous environment, the cabin is just a 8 miles from Downtown Bozeman.
Hiking and X-C skiing trails are right out the front door in National Forest lands. Wildlife visits are often common from deer, moose, an occasional black bear and a wide variety of birds.
