I spent a wonderful 4 days on Smiley lake in July with my brother and his family. The location is beautiful and private and the cabin is very comfortable with everything we needed for a fun time. We loved having evening fires in the firepit with the Tiki torches lit, and having the pontoon, canoe and paddle boat to use whenever we wanted. The owner, Bear, is a great host and made sure we had our questions answered and had what we needed. We definitely want to return next year!

Very relaxing and secluded, everything was nicely set up, no need to ask questions. Great,clean small lake. Easy directions and very friendly people. Would definelty recommend and plan to return.

Just got home and had a WONDERFUL weekend! Bear was a spectacular host, the cabin was perfect, and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvinated! Everything that we needed to make it a perfect weekend was there. I even caught my first bass and a HUGE croppie (amazing considering that I am not a "fisher person". My 14 year old daughter loved using the canoe and the paddle boat, and watching the many (many) movies that were available in the cabin. My dog (Chewy) swam for his first time and now he thinks he's a fish, not a mutt. We played games, baked cookies, and saw the most amazing display of stars that I think the galaxy has to offer. We saw Loons every day, beaver swam across the lake, and Brandy & Roxy (the most well mannered dogs you would ever want to meet)welcomed us and checked on us daily. I would highly recommed a visit to this lake; although it's not huge, it is easily within a half a tank of gas, owned by the nicest people you would ever want to meet, and in a beautiful peaceful setting with good fishing and relaxing. Thank you "Bear" for making this a weekend to remember, it's people like you that make me want to get out and explore! LaShawn & Family.

Cabin at the lake is the best! The cabin is really nice and well taken care of, and there is lots of room outside for frisbee, bocce ball and taking walks. Because there are only a few houses & cabins on the lake, we pretty much had the lake to ourselves for the whole week. Angele and Bear were very helpful and wonderful hosts. We had the greatest vacation there and can't wait to return this summer--our dogs loved it too!
