Tucked away on 5 acres of lush forest and 300 feet of shoreline, enjoy a private and peaceful retreat experience. The stars, wildlife, lake scenes, and sunsets are sure to make your time memorable and relaxing.
The lake home is located on Lake George at Lake George, MN 10 miles east of Itasca State Park and 25 miles from Park Rapids, Bemidji, and Walker. Lake George is 3.5 hours Northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Width of lot = 300 feet
Elevation above the lake = 50 feet
Lake George is a beautiful 800 Acre fishing and recreation lake. There is a public landing at the north end of the lake and we have a dock and lift. Fishing is good for bass, walleyes, northerns, and pan fish. Deer, eagles and loons abound.

The house is stocked with everything necessary for a comfortable vacation. It's been such fun to take walks near the property, listen to the loons, and watch for wildlife. Another great memory was going to the Mississippi headwaters in the north woods of Itasca State Park which is a short trip from the lake home. We actually crossed the river on stepping stones. I've spent time at this property in every season and with varying group sizes and I've had a great experience each time. In summer, it's waterskiing and fishing on Lake George, golfing and exploring Itaska State Park. In winter, it's snowshoeing on Lake George and in the woods, a book by the fire and plenty of scrabble. Lake George is not crowded and the boat traffic is minimal.
