Penthouse is very spacious - over 900 square feet! Wide private sandy beach with easy access just steps from your door...and you can walk the beach for miles! Located just minutes north of downtown Manistee.
Tons of amenities: Enjoy the 2-person, heart-shaped Jacuzzi (in unit) with Lake Michigan view. We've just added a beautiful electric fireplace with realistic flame and optional heat. Relax with a glass of wine, soak in the tub, enjoy the fireplace watch your favorite movie on the new 36" LCD flat screen and gaze out at the lake all at the same time. PLUS we offer 6-person hot tub in the enclosed gazebo (open year-round) with stereo and mini-fridge. Private kitchen is fully furnished with microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, full-size oven/range, utensils, blender, mixer, electric can opener, etc. Filtered, pure, artesian well drinking water. Full bath in unit - hair dryer provided. Central air conditioning and heat with thermostat in unit. Also in unit are full-size washer and dryer. Bathrobes, linens, towels, fire ring and firewood provided. 26" LCD TV with DVD in bedroom area in addition to 36" LCD TV with VCR/DVD combo in living area. Video library. The sleepy resort village of Onekama is just a few miles to the north, where you,will find darling shops and restaurants, and a grocery store. The fishing is fantastic, and there is a lovely playground for the kids. Shay's Chop House is one of our favorite restaurants! and M-22 runs through Onekama - one of the world's most beautiful highways, which can lead you all the way to Sleeping Bear Dunes for a great day trip. Voted America's Most Beautiful Place!
Downtown Manistee is 7 miles south, with larger stores, more restaurants and pubs, fast food, etc. The historic downtown area on River Street is a great place to stroll along the river to Lake Michigan.

What an Amazing place! We celebrated a delayed 37th Wedding Anniversary. Warm weather the first day we arrived. The sunset was glorious with its ever changing entertaining "beauty". I probably took a few hundred pictures trying to capture this magnificent view. Even though it rained the rest of our stay it kicked up the waves and the magical sounds even better. What serenity! What Peace! The coffee was great. Thank you. This place was just fabulous. We will definitely keep it in our memory bank for future reference. Thank you for renting us your place (without breaking the bank). - Bill & Sue

"This was our second stay at your vacation home. The first visit we brought our family and stayed on the first floor. This visit we are empty nesting and we have the top floor penthouse. Your accommodations are the very finest we have ever stayed at! Thank you for the wine. For future guests we recommend the Platte River and Crystal River kayaking. We loved the shops in Manistee and one whole day we ventured to Leland, had breakfast with the locals 9 am, went shopping in Fishtown (so many nice little shops!). Bought a sandwich at the Cheese Shope, bicycled to Reynolds St. 4 blocks north, sat on the beach and ate our lunch and enjoyed the sun and lake – Didn’t stay through the evening, but had h’ord derves at the Bluebird Resteraunt. Enjoy! We love Michigan and the Penthouse! P.S. M22 is a gorgeous scenic drive! - The Lee's

The bright warm days barefoot on the beach...then the whitecaps as the wild wind picked up and blew in from the south, then the northwest. Climbing the dunes at Sleeping Bear, driving the incredibly scenic drive high from above Lake MIchigan. All the charming smaller lakes and small towns, including Crystal Lake and and Family Day in Onekama. (How does one pronounce that?) We enjoyed the sweet solitude and quiet. I don't know when I've been this relaxed. Also enjoyed Manistee antique shopping and a fine dinner at the Blue Slipper Bistro. We don't want to leave - maybe we'll be blessed to return sometime. "
