Walk upstairs, winding around a lush tropical atrium, to a large living area. This Princeville, Kauai Vacation Rental house is 3400 sq ft under roof. Enjoy panoramic views of ocean, fairways, mountains and waterfalls. Walk out on one of two lanais, and enjoy fresh tropical evenings as the sun sets behind Bali Hai across Hanalei bay.

In this Princeville Kauai Vacation Rental, there are King size beds in two of the Master Bedroom Suites and two doubles in the third. A daybed in the Living Room. Two futons for extra guests or extra family.
Upstairs, a "great room" (New furnishings) of Living, Dining, and Kitchen areas, with windows all around, and two decks. Gorgeous views of ocean, mountains, waterfalls, and golf course in this beautiful North Shore of Kauai. Directions provided in our own "coffee table book" to all the best Princeville and Hanalei restaurants, Kauai snorkeling beaches and shopping, with sample menus and comments from past guests. A fully equipped kitchen large enough for three cooks to work in harmony, or walk to one of three nearby restaurants in Princeville. Fully equipped with bed, bath and beach towels and linens, beach mats, and a library of paperbacks for that "lie on the couch and do nothing" day. Books and toys for the "little ones". A DVD library of movies made on the Island of Kauai.
You will have use of the Sunset Drive Community Association Recreation Center across the street. This excellent facility includes a clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis court.

This lovely home on the fairway far exceeded our expectations.The owners have left no stone unturned in providing everything for traveling vacationers.The kitchen was designed for cooking, food storage and making the cook's job easy.The panaramic view from all sides of the house brought Kauai indoors.Our large family did not want to leave and we all have vowed to return to Hale Kipa as soon as possible.If you want easy accessibility to a vaiety of beaches,excellent golf courses,farmer's markets,fine dining,avocados from the side yard tree and a rooster for an alarm clock; this is the perfect home for vacationers who want quiet and secure accommodations.

This was a wonderful vacation home for 6 adults and 2 children. Three master bedrooms and three full bathrooms was a plus. The home was well equipped with life jackets, boogies boards, coolers, etc. The location was quiet and peaceful with the mountains in the distance.
The North shore of Kauai had so many wonderful places to visit. A bonus was seeing the whales just offshore on multiple days.
Hopefully, we will return in the near future.

Our family of seven ranging from ages 22-87 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house layout was perfect for gathering together and finding areas for privacy. The cross breezes and views in all directions made our time spent at the house a pleasure. Location was great for exploring the island.

Beutifully appointed. Captured the trade winds on a morning and afternoon lanai. (excellent Architecture)Terrific views of the golf course and waterfalls/mts. Pleasant walk to Princeville and Bali Hai Resort/Beach (and St. Regis Beach Club). Rarely used the car. There was something for everybody; golf,hiking, snorkeling, swimming, relaxing/reading, social scene, tennis...a great get-away. Good family reunion home-3 Bedroom suites.I recommend it. The house was clean, nicely furnished and well provisioned. I was particularly pleased with all the items in the pantry. We stopped at Costco in Lihue, but were reluctant to buy the large sizes of some items. So we were happy to find many things in the pantry and good supply of paper products. I think your pantry came out a little ahead after our visit. If so, we were happy to make the donation. It was worth the convenience.

There were six of us , and we thought the house was very elequent. It was stocked with everything you would need to do in the water. The house was beautiful and in very good shape. The outlay of the rooms afford a great view of the area and of Bali High from the living quarters, with the bedrooms on the bottom floor.

We recently rented this beautiful home for a family vacation and found it perfect for our large group of 9. The kitchen is fully stocked with salt/pepper, spices, flour, sugar, condiments, and even paper goods. This is different than most Kauai rentals where you have to purchase everything. The location is central to everything you need to do on the North Shore - you can walk to sunset at the end of the road, walk to sunrise at the hotel across the way and walk to three beaches just in the neighborhood. The house is cool and comfortable even during the heat of the day, and the fans you have in the bedrooms helped keep us cool at night. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

Everyone compared their new digs to yours and the most often comment was, "Hale Kipa feels like home." When I arrived and went upstairs, I truly felt like I was home. The holidays are over and I wanted to take a brief moment to write to you and let you know how much we enjoyed our week at your house Hale Kipa. It was almost like being at home. Our kids and grandkids loved it. And everyone was trying to figure out how to smuggle those football sized avocados home. Instead we tried to eat every one off the trees (impossible) they were delicious, the house was grand and I think you had just about everything in stock. 1 item was a spaghetti scoop, I didn’t find one or I would have bought it for the kitchen . A very comfortable place. We will definitely make this a must do again. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve luau and my grandchildren were mesmerized by the fire dancers. And of course they lived on the beach every day of our vacation. We did drive south and visit your Grand Canyon and stopped and ate in some out of the way places, we were treated like royalty. This was a welcome relaxed vacation for all of us, with our son in medical school and his wife in charge of the 4 little ones almost 24-7, she really needed some down time. Even our little 1 yr. old learn to walk alone on this trip, so as I have stated it made many great memories for our family.

Very enjoyable 2-week stay! The golf course setting (and nice big yard) is beautiful and there is so much to do in the Princeville/Hanalei area. Highlights were Ke'e Beach, Backdoor Beach and Queen's Bath. And going for evening walks to Lappert's Ice Cream. Great accomodations for our large group (3 families & 11 people). The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and pleasant.

Our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect. The amenities just right. You've obviously been at this a long time. This was our first trip to Hawaii, although one of our couples has been to many of the islands (the couple with no kids). We consisted of three sisters and their husbands, two of which are cousins and myself.
Two of the sisters have children, one with three boys and my wife with a boy and a girl (5 cousins between the ages of 3 and 7). We appreciate being able to include our children in your vacation home. We recognize children can be messy and destructive and we took great pride in keeping your home in fine shape.
Being my first trip to Hawaii, but traveling over the entire island, I think I like the north shore best and Princeville is certainly top of the line. We will probably visit the big island next and then return to Kauai for another trip. Being Alaskans we prefer to avoid the large population masses.
The web site is how my brother-in-law selected your accommodations. Our arrival impressions were fulfilled with the lovely setting. The weather was excellent the first week, then we encountered a rainstorm with 30 knot winds where we braved 18 holes of golf. The second week was partly sunny and we enjoyed every minute of it.
We especially liked the tennis court and nearby beaches. We fell into a routine of morning tennis and afternoons at the beach. The pool was also nice as a nearby distraction for the kids. A very quite neighborhood. I hope we were not too intrusive on your neighbors with our clan.
We did manage another round of golf in the back yard with excellent weather. I was so relaxed I played my best golf ever, and what a view on the ocean holes.
I don't know how you can improve on your facility. The kitchen and dinning areas are marvelous. We cooked every evening often on the bar-be-que, although I prefer charcoal grills. Cooking food is a big deal when we go camping, and our trip to Hawaii was like a 2-week camping trip to us.
Sharing the home with three couples made the value worth while for our income bracket. Thanks for your hospitality.

| Deposit: Any dates requested by telephone or email will be only tentatively quoted as available. Payment of a Reservation Deposit ($1000.00 for up to one week, $2000 for two and $2500 for three or more), together with a completed Guest Reservation Application must be received by us before a reservation will be confirmed. Tax: 11.41% Cleaning Fee: $150.00 Cancellations and Refunds: CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS If cancellation of booking by guest occurs more than six months prior to scheduled arrival, a full refund will be issued, less a cancellation fee of up to 3%. If cancellation occurs between six months and 60 days prior to scheduled arrival a 50% refund will be issued, unless we are able to re-book the house for the period or a portion of the period. If cancellation occurs less than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival, no refund will be issued, unless we are able to re-book. All cancellations must be in writing. Considering the advance planning that goes into most Hawaii vacations, the odds of re-booking dates less than 60 days ahead are near zero, so to protect against cancellations caused by unforeseen events such as illness, we recommend that guests purchase trip cancellation insurance from a private carrier.
