Kiahuna Plantation is the only beachfront resort in Poipu. The white sand beach, backed by green lawns, palm trees and tropical gardens is a perfect to relax or enjoy swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding or surfing. Towels and lounging chairs are freely provided to guests at the beach-side activity hut. You will experience why Poipu beach has been rated the best beach in the world by USA Today.
Condo #118: From our condo on the second floor of Building 18 you look out over the heart of the plantation with a view of the ocean beyond. You will fee comfortable and right at home in our recently remodeled and nicely furnished vacation home. The tropical paradise below can be enjoyed from the lanai (balcony) over a morning cup of coffee or watching the sunset in the evening. If you are familiar with the plantation you know that this location is a blend of easy access and great views.
The one bedroom, one bath condo includes new furnishings, a king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living area if needed. The light and comfortable living, dining and kitchen area are open to each other, with a large sliding glass door and plantation shutters that take you out onto the furnished lanai (balcony). There is a full bath with shower and tub, and separate vanity area. There is a new 26" LCD TV with DVD, stereo and music and DVD libraries. Free High Speed Internet Access is provided, and barbecues are located throughout the plantation for guest use.
Nearby Amenities: The Kiahuna Swim and Tennis Club provide free tennis and a new swimming pool a short distance away. The pool includes a waterfall, water slide and shallow sandy beach area for kids to play. Restaurants and shopping area are just across the road, with a fine restaurant on site at the plantation. The nearby Kiahuna Golf Course is an excellent 18 hole course with exceptional views.
Island Activities: The white sand beach at the plantation is a great location for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding or surfing. Nearby is Poipu State Park, considered one of the safest spots for snorking or for children to play. Spouting Horn is a short drive away, as is the small town of Koloa with grocery store, shops and restaurants that have the feel of rural Hawaii. Enjoy a drive up Waimea Canyon the colorful “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” or drive up to the end of the road and be amazed at the beauty of the Na Pali coast from above. Other options include exploring the Na Pali coast by tour boat or enjoying a bird’s eye view of the “Garden Island” by helicopter. That is an experience you won’t soon forget!

We just got back from Hawaii yesterday afternoon. We had a wonderful stay in Condo #118 and loved the Kaihuna Plantation. We found your condo to be very comfortable. One of the best condos we have stayed at in the Hawaiian islands and at a very reasonable price. Hopefully we will be able to return to Kauai in the near future and we will definitely reserve one of your condos. We were a little concerned that we would not be right on the ocean (we like the sound of the waves) and that the condo was right near Popiu road. But we found that it was not an issue. We have a 2.5 year old and it was so convenient to be near the parking lot and so near the pool. We used the pool everyday and really enjoyed the walk through the plantation grounds on the way to the beach. Thank you again and we hope we can book with you in the future.

We really enjoyed staying at your condo. It was all great. It was nice to have access to the boogie boards in the closet too. It was much quieter than I had expected (which was nice since our son was stuck in a different time zone and went to sleep every night around 7 pm). We had heard that the units near the road can pick up traffic noise but we heard none.

We stayed 11/2006 for 7 days with our children (3yrs and 1yr). The condo had everything that we needed (crib, booster seat, etc). It is very nicely/newly furnished and comfortable to stay in. The pictures don't do it justice. The price was great and we loved Kauai. We have a reservation to stay in the Butler's condo again this Octobor. Very highly recommended.

You have a great place and location. We were very comfortable at your condo with everything we needed. It was conveniently located; we went to the pool or beach daily. Thanks for letting us stay at your place. It was well decorated and had everything we needed. We had a great time!

We had a great time - probably the best ever - in Kauai, and enjoyed our stay in your condo very much. It's an awsome location and you are so lucky to call such a beautiful place your second home. Especially with the surrounding garden complex. First I thought it would be tough without A/C, but it didn't matter at all since you have such great shades where the wind can constantly blow through. Your condo was perfect for us and it was really hard to leave, we would have wished to stay longer. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful condo.

We have just purchased condo #118 in Kiahuna Plantation. Our first guests will be staying in June 2006 and we look forward to their comments. We have stayed in a variety of places on the different Hawaiian Islands, and for us the Kiahuna Plantation has a special feel.
