The condo is nicely equipped with all the conveniences of home; Newly tiled bathroom, kitchen, and Lanai. The decor is relaxing and luxurious, with easy access to all amenities. There is a nice trail up the valley with beautiful birds, peacocks and tropical flowers. The beach is exactly 1 mile down the road. One of the best turtle reefs is found . . .

My husband and I and our 2 teenage girls rented from Patrica from April 23-30, 2008. This place was wonderfull and well keptand equipped with supplies that you might need. The views are breathtaking standing on the balcony. The whole complex was great. We were able to save money by utilizing the kitchen and the bbq area. The staff on the property were friendly and pleasant. Really worth the travel from the busy Honolulu area. Patrica is very easy to deal with. I had so many questions and she was patient with me. We would rent from her again, if we ever get the chance to go back. Thanks Patricia.

This is a great property with an owner who is easy to deal with. If your looking for a laid-back place to relax out of the hustle this is it. I stayed here for 2 months and had no complaints or problems. You will appreciate the central a/c while in Hawaii, trust me!

We stayed in this condo in December, 2006, and it was fantastic; in particular, the great view of the mountains and ocean, away from touristy Waikiki. The grounds are very nice ~ a natural peaceful setting ~ and the buildings are well maintained and secure (great pool and bbq area too!). Only one mile away from the condo is a beautiful beach, where we swam and watched the surfers on a daily basis. Staying at this condo, in addition to renting a car, also gave us the freedom to explore different parts of the island - the right choice for what turned out to be a perfect vacation for us in this little slice of paradise. We will definitely like to stay at this condo again in the future, for our winter getaway vacations.

This particular apartment is the best, I've stayed in others over the years, however there is no road noise, it's not too high to make everything too distant nor too low. You can enjoy the garden, ocean and mountain views. The landlord takes good care of this unit and her tenants and is 100% wonderful to deal with, which unfortunately I cannot say about other unit owners/agents. We would stay here in this particular unit again and know you will be delighted!

Makaha was a great discovery. We enjoyed being on the relaxed side of the island, close enough to visit Waikiki, but far enough away to experience the tranquility and natural beauty of Hawaii. The view from the condo unit was spectacular -- ocean, mountains and lush landscape.

We stayed in this building for a month one summer and found it to be a well maintained building with beautiful common areas. The pool is great and the residents friendly. There is a security service for the parking and the parking was free. The views are spectacular. Because you are up against the mountains and elevated above the countryside, it is cooler in the summer than down below. We hope to stay there again.
