"A peaceful stay I did partake
In a lovely cabin o'erlooking a lake.
With birdsong trill to greet the day
I pondered, "Is there a better way"?
While waves of mountaintops filled my view,
The light of day painted different hues.
The Lake below me lay green and still,
With occasional ripples from a boater's thrill.
From my rocking chair I sought to find a way
To keep this peacefulness and try to stay.
But alas, tomorrows always come,
And my other life beckons me to home.
So I will soon be on my way,
With memories of this wonderful day...

Hurricane Francis gave us (more like, made us) take a little vacation, however when we got to Majestic Lake Cabin, we could not believe our eyes. BEAUTIFUL, BREATHTAKING, and INCREDIBLE. We realized after being here for just a day that we were not renting a cabin, but we were sharing Gary and Lissa’s Home and what an incredible home it is, a little piece of heaven in the mountains. I am impressed with every new discovery from the smallest things like the “Honey and Almonds” bath wash in the Master Bath to the wonderful antiques that Gary and Lissa have outfitted their home with. Tastefully decorated and the Media Room was awesome. Oh, and the movies that are stocked downstairs really helped. I have not seen at least 50% of them, and since I am not much into hiking, this was a dream come true! As I told our gracious host, the one word to describe this place is “WOW”! Thank you so much! FL

cabin could
not be more perfect. When we were looking for a cabin to rent, we

overwhelmed with the choices, just in North Ga alone. But when
we came
across yours, the decision was quick. I'd be more than happy for

For my birthday, my husband surprised me with a mountain
getaway! I was awed by the scenery. I absolutely loved the cabin. I
can tell it was furnished with love and care. This has been a
fantastic weekend. I hope my husband surprises me again, or
maybe I'll do it first! We will definitely be back!
