What to do while you are visiting the area..
If you decide to escape the tranquility of Windmark beach visit the Historic Downtown Business District of Port St. Joe. The downtown area has been transformed into a strolling, browsing & shopping area. You will experience quaint shopping and unique dining experiences here. Apalachicola, Florida is only 20 minutes away. Here you will find charming boutiques and one-of-a-kind home furnishings, accessories, and antiques.

Take a fishing trip from the Port St. Joe Marina. Surf Fish for dinner while the younger ones assist you or build sandcastles on the beach. Shipyard Cove Park offers a beach area, natural wetlands, a walking trail, park benches and picnic tables. A great place to end your day. Frank Pate Park is bay front and features a lighted tennis court & walking track, playground, boat ramp & a gazebo at the end of the pier. Picnic tables are grills are also available at this park. Forrest Park is located in the heart of Port St. Joe's residential area. This park offers a public golf course, tennis court, playgrounds & several lighted baseball & softball fields.
