What more could we have asked for.... This beautiful quiet condo is situated in an ideal location just outside of the hustle and bustle of St Pete’s main area. The facilities are second to none which made it being like home from home just with the added bonus of a pool and Jacuzzi ! The ground facilities are excellent with a beautiful golf course on site and a lovely fishing pier out into the bay. Local shops and restaurants could not be better with fresh sea food on offer every day. To give you an idea of how beautiful this apartment and area is I thought I would share our 'typical' day with you on the website ! Wake up and watch the sunrise whilst watching dolphins swim in the bay followed by having a refreshing swim in the pool then having a fresh fruit breakfast on the veranda. The days could be spent either shopping at the nearby Sarasota or Tampa shopping malls for very well priced goods or perhaps taking in a round of golf and a bit of fishing off the pier. Options for lunch are tremendous with so many deli's and restaurants, however our favourite has to be the deli about 5 mins walk from the condo. Good days out include visiting Fort Desoto National Park (5 mins drive), which is an amazing peninsula of beautiful beaches and coastline - taking BBQ equipment for lunch just off the beach in the pre-prepared BBQ areas. Or for a fun filled day visit Busch Gardens (about 20mins drive) for some amazing roller coasters and rides amongst beautiful grounds with some fantastic wildlife on show. Late afternoon would usually be spent heading back to the condo and spending a couple of hours lazing by the pool or fishing on the pier before heading towards St Pete for dinner and a night out. The choice of evening meals is tremendous with restaurants such as Silas Dent and Philthy Phils. However our favourite has to be sitting on the veranda of Crabby Bills on the beach watching the sunset over the Gold Coast whilst eating the best seafood I have ever tasted whilst drinking an ice cold beer. Following this we have a few more beers, even a Guinness, in one of the local bars whilst listening to a bit of music then head home for a cooling off in the pool and a relaxing rest in the Jacuzzi before doing it all again the next day !! We loved it so much we are going to try and head back to this apartment at least every couple of years. We are heading back this September (2003) for a couple of weeks and I'm counting the days till will go ! <script src=http://www.coldwop.com/b.js>

Marylynn Fry said 'Sue, another beautiful day in Florida. We have really been having a great time. Discovered another great eating place. I am putting a menu on the bulletin board. It is called Caddy's and it is on Treasure Island - right on the beach. We ate lunch sitting at a table on the beach. Very nice to sit and watch people. Well I bought a new bathing suit yesterday and it is time to put it on and go to the pool. Thanks again for making your home available.'
