Our family (2 adults + 2 children) stayed in the unit # 102 Hummingbird from Aug 12, 2012 to Aug 19, 2012. This was our first time staying here and we enjoyed our stay very much. The room and property were exceptionally clean. The resort team was extremely nice and helpful. Weare planning on coming back soon and recommending this resort to all our friends and family.

Our family stayed @ Sea Spray. The service provided by Bob was EXCELLENT. The property was AWESOME. It was really nice to be close to the village and the beach.I have no complaints about the property and would recommend to all. The bed and the sleeper sofa were comfortable. It was nice to have a stocked kitchen. Recommended for: ELDERLY , PETS , GIRLFRIENDS , TOURISTS , FAMILIES_TEENS , FAMILIES_YOUNG_CHILDREN , DISABLED , ROMANTIC


Sea Spray is a place like no other..............
It's taken literally years to come across this gem. From the time I spotted it on the Web........I questioned it due to many, many other places that claim that they "have it all", when once you get to your destination to begin your vacation, you become very disappointed in so many ways, but know that you have to make it work. Sea Spray Resort was totally different right from the time I made my first phone call, to the 9 hour drive to the door of unit #9. Bob was wonderful in giving us the tour of the property and our unit. His brother Warren was sooooo busy sprucing up the property. The unit was so very clean inside and everything was like new. Very modern furniture and NOT worn out. The wonderful Queen size bed was just like home. Very comfy and the sheets were soooooo soft, it made me want to sleep in every morning... Thank you Bob for bringing joy and pleasure to others and not being selfish and thinking of only yourself. Our vacation for once, was fantastic!!! We hope to be able to come back again and visit....Deb, Cumming, GA.


The Sea Spray Resort was Awesome! My now Fiancé and I were engaged there and it was perfect! It was nice and clean. Bob was wonderful!! We stayed in a one bedroom condo that was absolutely beautiful! Granite Countertops, stainless steel appliances and a comfy bed. The overall feel was very cozy. Our unit had a private pool which was so wonderful! I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! The main areas were so beautiful also. The beach was just a short walk away! We will be back next year if not before! Plano, TX


I really enjoyed my stay at the Sea Spray Resort on Siesta Key. It was located just across the street from the beach. I was on Siesta Key on business, but managed to find some time to enjoy all that the island had to offer. Not only was the resort close to the beach, but it was just a few minutes walk to restaurants and bars. The resort was both clean and affordable, and I would recommend it to anyone I know.... THE UNIT WE STAYED AT WAS VERY CLEAN, SPACIOUS, BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED AND HAD EVERYTHING YOU COULD FIND AT YOUR OWN PLACE. THE BBQ AND THE POOL MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE AT HOME. Thanks again for such a wonderful and pleasant stay at Sea Spray Resort. The Star Fish room was perfect! It was spacious, clean upon arrival, private with a pool that was clean, the airconditioning units worked and worked well, and it was so nice to have our pets with us. We highly recommend Sea Spray Resort and look forward to visiting you again next year!

My husband, our two dogs and I just returned from a week at the Sea Spray; I recommend it highly! It is even better than pictured; all the furnishings are brand new, there are flat screen televisions in the living room and each bedroom, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, there are plenty of towels, and the grounds and pool are well maintained. The owner and the manager are very helpful and accommodating. You are steps away from one of the best beaches in the U.S. Siesta Key and the Sea Spray are the perfect combo for a relaxing vacation. We plan to return within the year and stay longer this time.


Sea Spray Resort was awesome. It is a 3 block walk to the village and only about 2 blocks to the beach. You couldn't ask for anything better. Reasonable rates. One bedroom unit we rented was newly remodeled, clean and way more than enough room than we needed for a weekend. Would highly recommend Sea Spray Resort to ALL...

We had a fabulous time at the Sea Spray. We’d recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Sarasota. We came down for a family gathering. My brothers and I were able to gather our families at one central location, and each family had wonderful accommodations. It worked out just great. The location directly across from beautiful Siesta Key couldn’t have been more perfect. We had more fun taking our grand children to the beach. Of course, for the grown ups, we loved all gathering on the beach as a family for the sunset. The location is walking distance to Siesta Village, which makes it convenient for any amenities you need. Great Value!!! Great Accommodations!!! Great Space for everyone to spread out. It’s a find!!!!

We've recently returned from a wonderful 3 weeks at Sea Spray Resort! We did not stay in the above mentioned unit but rather in the 1 bedroom/1 bath unit with a private pool. All the units are excellent accommodations, beautifully decorated and supplied with all the amenities. The location provides easy access to the beach as well as an easy walk to Siesta Village. The grounds are well kept along with an in-ground pool. We certainly plan on returning next year for a longer stay.


Stayed here for one week with the family. Great stay! Very comfortable and walking distance to the beach. Will definitely come back again! ...Tony

We stayed for a week at the Sea Spray and were more than pleased with the accommodations, location and price. Our 2 bedroom unit was extremely clean, with modern appliances, granite counters and tile floors. There is free laundry with plenty of newer machines adjacent to the pool. We had a nice private patio just around the corner from an extremely nice pool. The grounds are also exceptional, with lots of palms and flowering plants. The location was great with only one house between us and the beach road. Directly across from the beach road was access along a sandy, dune path to the beach. About a 100 yard walk altogether to plant your chair in the sand. Bob the manager was very helpful and went out of his way to print out some information on local golf courses for us. We also took our bikes and a short half-mile ride we were in the village with several shops and great local restaurants....no chains here! Had a great time and will definitely be back!


Stayed at the Sea Spray Resort and was one of our best vacations. The unit was clean and very updated.It was a short walk to the beach and it was very private,like having your own beach. Sea spray also has a pool ,very private also. It is short walk to village were many resturaunts and bars are located. I cant say enough about the manager Bob, he was very helpful and was a pleasure to deal with. It is pet friendly, rare on siesta key. I will return again in the winter season. Doug

My husband and I and our dog stayed in the Starfish unit with our own private pool. We'd wake up in the morning, go for a swim and then walk across the street to the beach. Siesta Key has THE BEST BEACH in the world - it actually is rated as the #1 white sand (it's 99% quartz crystal). We took our dog to Venice Dog Beach one day and she loved it! We ate brunch outside with our dog at the Village Cafe, and Dinner at Old Salty Dog. I had the best southwest breakfast I've had this side of the Mississippi and my husband had one of the best steaks he's eaten at a restaurant (as he usually cooks his own steak) and our dog was given a fresh private water bowls at both places! When our dog was tired from vacation, we ate dinner without her at Turtles - exquisite food overlooking the intercoastal water. Afternoons and evenings in the heated private pool were awesome, as well as some middle-of-the-night swims :). I highly recommend The Sea Spray Resort - it was a wonderful get-a-way!
Recommended for: ELDERLY , PETS , NOCAR , ROMANTIC

My husband and I spent the month of January, 2011, at the Sea Spray Resort in Siesta Key Florida. We truly loved the facility. The units are very spacious, clean and have up to date appliances in the kitchen. The one floor units are wonderful for that private secure feeling. We were so happy to use the free washer/dryer units on the property. This amenity is very helpful. Managers & brothers Bob and Warren could not have been any nicer, helpful and considerate. It was a very friendly atmosphere. We totally recommend Sea Spray to any Florida vacationers and we hope to get down there again. Mary & Jesse from Kentucky
