Fancy Free is decorated in a casual beach style yet
offers more ammenities than you could imagine! We
are located just a short stroll from 2 neighborhood
pools. Our cottage features an open floor plan with 4
lovely porches. There is a bedroom on the main floor
with a queen size bed and an adjacent full bath.
Upstairs,the master bedroom features a king size bed
and full bath with separate tub and shower. The third
bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a twin
trundle, and a full bath. All bedrooms as well as the
great room feature large TV's and DVD players. We offer
secured wireless internet as well! The
bunk room features a Playstation 2 as well. This
house is a perfect retreat for any family. We even
provide sandtoys, games, books and movies!!!

We loved this beautiful Beach house. You step into the house and already have the feeling you are coming home. We brought visitor from Germany and they couldn't stop walking around and taking picture to show them to friends and family. We loved to bring our dog, and she loved to go to the beach at night and hunt for crabs. We had a great time, quiet neighbor hood, and short distance to Seaside or Destin, if you look for more action. Best thing for us, my husbands work Blackberry had no signal there, yeah.
The Beach is just around the corner, snow white sand and great water. We had a great time and we are pretty sure we will back for another great vacation.

Wonderful place to vacation. The cottage was extremely clean, had all the amenities that you could need for cooking and the owner Susan was great to work with. Old Florida Village is quiet, well kept neighborhood. Can't wait to go back.

This was a fabulous property. The location is ideal for families. The house itself was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. They have a stocked garage in the back with a ton of beach and pool toys. There is no need to bring your own.
There is a public beach access within 1/2 mile from the house and makes it easy to enjoy the beach without a long walk.
Loved the area and it was close to wonderful restaurants.
The owners were very easy to work with and presented an accurate description of the property.
This is definetly on our keeper list. Great price, Great place. :)

We enjoyed a fabulous winter in Fancy Free this year (January through March, 2010) and plan on returning next year. The cottage is very well designed, very clean, well maintained and generally quite comfortable. It has a great kitchen equipped with everything that you need. Its location is ideal being on 30A and within walking distance to one of the most fabulous beaches in the country. We found a plethora of wonderful restaurants both in the 30A corridor and in the Destin area and look forward to returning to most of them next year. Did I mention the shopping? Incredible and a great activity for those so infrequent rainy days. Another intangible is the community of Old Florida Village where Fancy Free is located. We find that the neighbors whether there for a week or a month are generally VERY warm and caring people. They always have a kind word and to top it off, it is a very dog friendly community which is perfect for us. And the icing on the cake is the owners. We had a hot water problem and all it took for resolution was a quick telephone call to the owner and she immediately took care of the problem! You cannot ask for more!

Fancy Free is fabulous! My family has rented a house in the Santa Rosa Beach area for the past 12 years. Fancy Free was perfect for us. The house was clean, comfortable, and inviting with a cheerful decor. Our kids loved the bunk room. The neighborhood has two ample-sized pools, and we never found them both over-crowded. The pool and pool restrooms were also clean and well-kept. Susan was very responsive and professional. We hope to return next year!

We were in town for our daughter's wedding. Fancy Free was the perfect "get-away" from the hectic pace of the week. The house was great and the neighborhood was wonderful. Fancy Free is a wonderful home away from home with all the amenities of home. The cottage is beautiful, fully equipped and very comfortable. The location of Fancy Free is very convenient to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed the fact that Fancy Free was a pet friendly rental! From: Cedar Falls, Iowa; a review about vacation in July 2008. We loved Fancy Free and consider this one of our best vacations. The house was wonderful, spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to prepare fresh seafood daily purchased at a nearby seafood market!!! The location was great near beach, shopping and restaurants, yet very private. The weather was good and the two neighborhood pools were just steps from Fancy Free. It was a great get away from our home in the midwest. Can't wait to come again. We had a wonderful stay at Fancy Free. It's beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. The location is fantastic, close to everything but not congested with traffic and people. Our recent stay at Fancy Free was exactly what we needed. The property was very neat and clean and beautifully decorated. The short walk to the beach (we chose the route behind Goatfeathers) took about 8 minutes. The two pools on the property were never crowded. The owners were great to work with and attentive to our stay whle we were there. I would highly recommend Fancy Free as a vacation choice. It was very relaxing and we'll definitely be going back! We have stayed at Fancy Free twice and hope to return again in 2008. It is a very comfortable beach house well located in one of the prettiest parts of the panhandle. A short walk to the beach, restaurants, and one of the best coffee shops anywhere. Golfing is close by as is shopping. Fancy Free has all the amenities of home; it has everything you need to be very comfortable for a week or two or even longer. We highly recommend it.

My family, friends and I stayed at "Fancy Free" at the end of May 2006. The house is very comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly need during your stay is provided. It is just a short walk to the beach, and the neighborhood is both friendly and safe. The owner was easy to deal with and we had a wonderfuly vacation. I highly recommend this property.

We had a fabulous stay in Santa Rosa beach and Fancy Free. We were looking for something a little more quiet than Destin and found it here. It was quiet but the house was close to everything - Seaside and shops on one side and 98 on the other-- some in our group biked to the Donut Hole East.
The house was perfect - great decorating, very comfortable and everything you could need including lots and lots of towels. The house also has a great lay-out. Bedrooms were separated - no noise when kids are napping:) The golf cart was also great for coming and going to the beach.
We will definately return to this house.

fancy Free is an awesome place to stay. The location was great! Ten minutes to Seaside and ten minutes to Bay Towne Wharf. There are lots of places to shop and eat that are only minutes away. The house is colorfully decorated, extremely nice, and comfortable. The owners have anything you would need at the home including beach chairs. They have a book that answers all your questions about local restaurants, shopping, events, grocery stores, etc. The two pools were nice and very accessible. Loved walking to the beach each day and enjoying the view of all the great homes aloong the beach. This is not a highly conjested area. Be sure to browse the shops and enjoy the ice cream parlor and the Smiling Fish Cafe. I can't wait to return.... we were very satisfied with the accomodations. Great place to vacation.
