brand new beautifully furnished vacation beach
cottage. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths and a
beautiful gourmet stainless steel and granite kitchen,
Fancy Free located in Old Florida Village on Scenic
30A offers you walking distance to the beautiful blue
waters of the gulf coast as well as to shopping and
dining.
Fancy Free is decorated in a casual beach style yet
offers more ammenities than you could imagine! We
are located just a short stroll from 2 neighborhood
pools. Our cottage features an open floor plan with 4
lovely porches. There is a bedroom on the main floor
with a queen size bed and an adjacent full bath.
Upstairs,the master bedroom features a king size bed
and full bath with separate tub and shower. The third
bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a twin
trundle, and a full bath. All bedrooms as well as the
great room feature large TV's and DVD players. The
bunk room features a Playstation 2 as well. This
house is a perfect retreat for any family. We even
provide sandtoys, games, books and movies!!!

This was a fabulous property. The location is ideal for families. The house itself was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. They have a stocked garage in the back with a ton of beach and pool toys. There is no need to bring your own. The cottage is very well designed, very clean, well maintained and generally quite comfortable. It has a great kitchen equipped with everything that you need. Its location is ideal being on 30A and within walking distance to one of the most fabulous beaches in the country. We found a plethora of wonderful restaurants both in the 30A corridor and in the Destin area and look forward to returning to most of them next year. Did I mention the shopping? Incredible and a great activity for those so infrequent rainy days. Another intangible is the community of Old Florida Village where Fancy Free is located. We find that the neighbors whether there for a week or a month are generally VERY warm and caring people. They always have a kind word and to top it off, it is a very dog friendly community which is perfect for us. And the icing on the cake is the owners. We had a hot water problem and all it took for resolution was a quick telephone call to the owner and she immediately took care of the problem! You cannot ask for more! The house was clean, comfortable, and inviting with a cheerful decor. Our kids loved the bunk room. The neighborhood has two ample-sized pools, and we never found them both over-crowded. We were in town for our daughter's wedding. Fancy Free was the perfect "get-away" from the hectic pace of the week. The house was great and the neighborhood was wonderful. The house is well equipped and quite comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we look forward to coming back soon! The short walk to the beach (we chose the route behind Goatfeathers) took about 8 minutes. The two pools on the property were never crowded. We have stayed at Fancy Free twice and hope to return again in 2008. It is a very comfortable beach house well located in one of the prettiest parts of the panhandle. A short walk to the beach, restaurants, and one of the best coffee shops anywhere. Golfing is close by as is shopping. Fancy Free has all the amenities of home; it has everything you need to be very comfortable for a week or two or even longer. We highly recommend it. We had a fabulous stay in Santa Rosa beach and Fancy Free. We were looking for something a little more quiet than Destin and found it here. It was quiet but the house was close to everything - Seaside and shops on one side and 98 on the other-- some in our group biked to the Donut Hole East. There are lots of places to shop and eat that are only minutes away. The house is colorfully decorated, extremely nice, and comfortable. The owners have anything you would need at the home including beach chairs. They have a book that answers all your questions about local restaurants, shopping, events, grocery stores, etc. The two pools were nice and very accessible. Loved walking to the beach each day and enjoying the view of all the great homes aloong the beach. This is not a highly conjested area. Be sure to browse the shops and enjoy the ice cream parlor and the Smiling Fish Cafe. I can't wait to return.... we were very satisfied with the accomodations.
