All the rooms have ocean views and breezes. The great room looks out over the front lawn to the ocean. The master bedroom offers a walk in shower, the second bath is accessible from 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed one with a bunk bed and a trundle bed. All bedrooms and living room have large screen TV/DVD/VCR/MP3 combos. There is a full
kitchen with all necessities supplied. Ceiling fans and comfort are through out the house.

Wow! The pictures do not do this property justice! This was the best place I have ever rented! Have been to many beaches and rented many homes! Loved this place and will rent it again! Everything about our trip was delightful (except the Raven's embarrassing loss against the Jaguars!! - the reason for our trip). Carolyn was easy to reach, promptly responded to my many questions and has a lovely and comfortable home immediately on the beach. We were a group of 6 adults and had a great time. The guys took out the kayaks, we walked endless miles on the beach each day, finding tons of conch shells and a few sand dollars! We rarely seen another person on the beach and when we did we noticed the locals wearing heavy sweatsuits (us in beach wear!) as it was low 70's and probably chilly for them. Visited St Augustine for a day and ended our trip by visiting Amelia Island. The location is private but within an easy car drive to town. The house was well equipped and comfortable - LOVED the lounge chairs outside. I can't say enough good things. Would love to visit again! We felt very welcome! The oceanfront yet private beach location of the cottage was ideal and the accomodations were top notch. The inside of the cottage was very roomy and oh so comfortable. From the welcome basket on the dining table to the fireplace in the living area, the space invited us in. From the oceanfront bedrooms you could go to sleep watching the stars and hearing the waves come in. The outdoor living spaces made the property seem even larger. Two sun patios with lounging and dining spaces were my favorite spots. I had to tear myself away to even go inside. The oceanfront private beach was beyond compare! From the moment we walked through the front door, we knew it. The first morning, after the first night's great sleep on the well appointed beds with opulent pillows, I was sitting on the patio watching a shrimp troller off in the distance. I thought, "I wish I could see that boat better." Suddenly, I noticed a set of binoculars just inside the back door. That's how I would describe this place. "I wish" and it's already there. My kids and husband wore themselves out playing with all the toys. We were never at a loss for something to do. I would highly recommend this cottage, although reluctantly. We plan on visiting it at least 2 or 3 times a year and if everyone else knows how great it is, it may not be available when we want it again. When I rented Pelican Pass Cottage, I had no idea how perfectly it would suit our needs. Along with my mother and four sisters, I rented the cottage for the week of Oct 4-10, 2006. Our younger brother, who lives in Jacksonville Beach, has cancer and ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), so the circumstances of our visit were less than desirable. However, the cottage provided us the ideal location to relax, reconnect, share, and create wonderful memories. Because our brother has been so ill this past year, being at the cottage was a mini-vacation away from home for him and his family each day -- truly a blessing. The kitchen is beautifully appointed, which allowed us to prepare several meals for our days at the beach. And then for those days we wanted to dine out, the proximity to St. Augustine's provided us the chance to experience the wonderful seafood the area has to offer. Pelican Pass Cottage is inviting, cozy, comfortable and charming; the beachcombing was awesome; the sunrises/moonrises were spectacular! We visited from April 22 to 29, 2006. Everything you could ever need is included in the cottage, it was spotless and bright, the view of the ocean is awesome and being able to sit on the deck and watch it for hours is an amazing and restful holiday. The dolphins went by at 9:00 a.m. almost every morning and the pelicans are flying over it all the time.
