We stayed in Joe's condo mar 17-24 and loved, loved it! Waking up in the morning to the view of the gulf and watching dolphins swimming, to shell picking on south beach, able to take long walks on the beach, and relaxing on the deck every night watching the gorgeous sunset. The condo had everything we needed. Towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella. The pool area was nice and a break away from the hot sun of the afternoon. The parking was covered, so our car was never too hot. The restaurant on site had excellent food. We ate there twice, along with many great restaurant picks on marco island. The furniture inside the condo was nice, clean and comfortable. His deck furniture was awesome, so you could sit up high enough to have a great view at all times. We loved Joe's condo at the Apollo and we really like Marco Island and the area. We will be back.

Stayed in this condo in January 2006.
Place is clean and everything works well. Main bed very comnfortable and the room quiet. The location is perfect for the sunset. The sun in winter doesnt reach the patio until around 11am and then stays on it until sunset.
There are 2 queen beds but be clear that the 2nd one is in the lounge and is a sofa bed. Personally I think its to small a unit for 4 adults. The patio/balcony is a good size and was great for our toddler to explore safely.
Owners are very reactive to any problems. A hairdryer that blew up was replaced the same day.
At the time of our visit the sauna was out of action - if that is important to you then check with the owner if its back in action.
From the Condo there are many restaurants in walking distance as well as the sports bar type of place in the Condo itself.
