The nearby Marathon Airport offers flights to and from Miami, and now will have direct Delta Airlines flights from across the U.S. Marathon airport also offers sight seeing Bi-Plane rides. Enjoy some of the best fishing and diving available in the world. Sombrero Reef is 4.5 miles away from your dock. It offers a spectacular reef and is just minutes away by boat ride. The Seven Mile Bridge is probably the premiere location for the greatest game fish in Florida waters, the Tarpon. The best part of all is that you can rent this house weekly or daily. Marathon, the second largest community in Monroe County, is an island community made up of over 60 isles situated in "The Heart of the Florida Keys", located 80 miles south of the mainland, and just 50 miles north of Key West. The Islands of Marathon are set amid turquoise waters and enjoy a tropical climate. With no snow or frost, an average temperature of 78 degrees and an abundance of sunshine, Marathon is an ideal place to live or vacation.

Our pristine waters are our main natural resource and are part of the National Marine Sanctuary, designed to protect North America's only living coral reef.
