From arrival to departure we were pleased with the Ocean Sands condo rental. The view itself of the property as we arrived over the bridge was prestigious. The rental was maintained, extremely clean and had all that a family with teenagers would need. The beach was clean and had just enough visitors for the kids to make friends but never felt busy. From the large balcony, which extends from the living room to the master bedroom we saw dolphins almost daily, enjoyed the sunsets and listened to the waves at night. The pictures are accurate but still do not give justice to the peace and enjoyment of this rental. Grocery is waking distance, trolly stop out side garage which will take you as far north as Clearwater and about 10 miles south for just a $1.00 each way, John's Pass-- everything you need for an trendy shopping and eats 10 minutes, and so much more. My husband works for an Airlines so we have traveled a great deal and also have the benefit of traveling anywhere and I am already missing Madiera Beach and hope to return next year. Also wanted to note Bushgardens 45 minutes, Orland 1hr 45 minutes. We choose to communte to our day trips and it was so nice to come "HOME" at night to the condo vs a hotel room.

WOW! Fireworks exploding @ eye level on the 10th floor from sunset till 11pm~~ HOT awesome weather~ Our 2.5 week vacation was perfect ~ Always wanted to see the sun set on the Gulf of Mexico on the longest day of the year & it was spectacular ~~ never too crowded on the beach or in the large heated pool, except on the 4th of course ~~ only negative is that the condo did not furnish the food and Margarita mix..hehe ~~ LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR NEXT VACATION IN ONE OF THE WOODLOCK'S OCEAN SANDS CONDOS.

My family and I return every year to this wonderful property, we love the view, location right on the beach, close to shopping mall and tourist area John's Pass, a good variety of restaurants in the area, lots to do close by, boating, swimming (gulf or pool), para sailing, mini golf, etc, the whole property is super clean. Busch gardens is a 40 minute drive and so is Lowry park zoo and all the rest of the Tampa attractions, we really like that it is close to Tampa (a bigger city) but not in it because when you are done for the day at the attractions you can escape to the beach side without a long drive. The best of both worlds! I would highly recommend this property.
Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls getaway, Families with young children, People with disabilities, Romantic getaway

Best of all is the condo itself; beautiful, comfortable, and all the amenities of home PLUS. This condo is absolutely the best condo with the best view we have rented in 15 years of Madeira Beach visits. Tom and Trudi have made their condol just like home with all the necessities covered. We were concerned about elevator service on the 11th floor but even during Easter week we never waited more than a few minutes. Parking, a hot tub, the pool and deck areas were well taken care of and wireless inter net, what a plus. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and will be back the 1st chance we have.

June & Al , Brantford, Ontario We have utilized this Condo for a month annually since Trudi & Tom bought & renovated it several years ago. It is in our view an excellent condo. We are experienced over 20 years of renting condos in the Madeira Beach/Johns Pass area. It is very well maintained and fully equipped. The location is excellent, the view over the beach & gulf is wonderful. The Building is well maintained with all the amenities you might need. Grocery, Liquor & Drug stores a short walk away. The availability of Internet access is a definite plus. We are already booked for next year and trust we will be back for many more. Can't wait to sit on the balcony and watch the sun set over the Gulf. We enjoy listening to the waves on the beach lull us off to sleep at bedtime. Trudi & Tom are caring owners and are available by phone in case of problems, of which we have had very few.

I have been going to Madeira Beach and staying in Ocean Sands since I was a child. Once I discovered the owners of this particular condo I would not look any further. Not only are the owner’s exceptionally accommodating and compassionate- the prices are fair but repeat renters get a discount! I consider myself lucky to have found the perfect holiday place for me. There is so much to do, yet my favourite part is the sounds of the ocean, sunsets, being able to cook meals with a fully equipped kitchen, dolphin watching from the balcony and of course the well maintained pool and beach. You can have a quiet vacation to unwind or pack your days full of exciting things to do. The condo is exactly what one looks for as a beach get away- homey, cozy, beachy (for lack of a better word I will make one up)and vacation friendly. I call this one my private paradise!

Our family stayed here in August, 2005. What a BEAUTIFUL place!!! It was very clean, and even more beautiful than the pictures can convey. We caught glimpses of dolphins from the lanai, where we enjoyed relaxing, just listening to the ocean waves, watching the spectacular sunsets, etc... This condo was the PERFECT choice for our family, very close to everything, yet felt like "far away". Wonderful wide open ocean views from the huge patio door/ huge lanai. We can't wait to go back!!!

Stayed here in early June 2005. Great location for family. Not right in heaviest tourist area, but close enough. Grocery and resturant across street. Great view from large deck. Everything we needed right on site.Condo was clean and well situated with living area and master bedroom looking right out over the gulf. Plenty on closet space for storage. Kids loved the pool and hot tub and also the shuffle board. Security was on site at night for peace of mind. We had a great stay and will probabaly return.

My family of 4 ( husband and 2 teenage boys) stayed here in the winter of 2004. We loved it. My kids crought their laptops with so they could stay in touch with friends and my husband and I were able to use the internet to find activities around the area. This was a great feature to have...one many condo owners haven't caught onto yet I might add.
The area and the condo itself were beautiful and everything we could have dreamed of. Our kids made lots of friends and the waves rolling onto the beach at night were the best! What I wouldn't give to fall asleep like that every night!!
