This great family vacation spot near Key West is in the Florida Keys! Stay in the lovingly rennovated two-bedroom "Conch Cottage" on a one- acre oceanfront property, surrounded by lush tropical gardens!

Our home is situated about 15 miles from Key West, and features an oceanfront swimming pool, a boat launch and dock, and a children's playground!



This is not a "typical" vacation rental! The cottages have just been completely renovated this year; and each is beautifully decorated with unique character. They have all the modern amenities including satellite TV (150 channels including HBO and Cinemax), microwave ovens -- and, of course blenders!


Tropical fruits including key limes, papayas, mangoes, and bananas grow throughout the property -- and make delicious drinks! The cottages are surrounded by gorgeous tropical gardens which are beautiful places to relax and meditate and just enjoy the fragrances and color.



Each cottage has two queen-size bedrooms, and a sofa bed or daybed in the living room that converts to two very comfortable twin-size beds.



This is a great location for families! We have free kayaks for guests' use -- so you can explore the ocean shore (it's normally very calm because of the reef). And you can fish from the dock, or swim in our oceanfront pool.



We can arrange fishing, snorkeling, sight-seeing, or diving charters to leave right from our dock. Our island is over 100 miles out to sea; so great sportfishing is just a few minutes from our dock! And we can arrange for a local chef to cook your catch, if you desire!



We're about halfway between Key West and the best beach in the Keys -- Bahia Honda! So whatever you might like to do is just a short distance away! Access to the "Back Country" and the National Wildlife Refuge is right on our island. Looe Key, the best reef for snorkeling and diving, is just a few miles off our shore.



There's a full-service marina just a mile or so away, if you want to rent a boat. We also have limited dock space available on our property.



We're just minutes by boat to the best diving and snorkeling in North America! Great sport fishing, boating, sailing, and windsurfing is available right from our dock! Sightseeing and shopping in Key West is just 15 miles away. Whether bicycling or swimming, you'll be in awe of the lush tropical gardens and exotic wildlife that surrounds you. Relax by our oceanfront pool. Enjoy a game of golf. Or take a tour of the pristine wildlife preserve in the backcountry! It's a national treasure! And Bahia Honda, the best beach in the Keys (and many think in the world) is just minutes away!
