This place is a private tropical hideaway. The owners (Hosts) Les & Geoff are very amicable and hospitable and couldn't do more to please you. The apartment was luxurious with beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds. I particularly enjoyed playing the grand piano. The gardens and pool are a beautifully kept and managed. frequently travelling family from Chicago, IL We stayed at Eastwick House for New Years week last year. It was a little private oasis with a lovely garden and pool area. Les & Geoff are genuinely welcoming and hospitable and are as hands-on or off as you'd like them to be. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the apartment was versatile enough to accommodate our two teenaged children. Eastwick House is just a short drive to the beach and shopping, so we found it to be very convenient. Our intention had been to spend our time visiting the beaches, restaurants and night life, and we did go to the beach once just to say that we had been! Les and Geoff are two of the most amazing people that we have ever met and we spent most of our time each day in the private and tropical surroundings at Eastwick House. When we returned home from our vacation, everyone asked what did we do most of the time there? Our answer? The biggest attraction for us was the time spent with each other in this wonderful private tropical oasis with two of Ft. Lauderdale's most incredible people. They made us feel very welcome and struck the right balance of being genial hosts but at the same time leaving us to get on and do our own thing. - nothing was too much trouble for them including setting up the BBQ for our own use.
