We stumbled upon this quaint and welcoming place to stay in 2002. We have spent many long weekends and a few weeks at a time there. These cottages feel like home with all the amenities. We have a fabulous time beach combing and visiting local shops and flea markets. We will be making reservation there again this fall and will write a new summary from our visit. I agree that the place was immaculate. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable that I have slept on outside of my own. Plenty of towels and a laundry facility on site. They do not have central air but do have window air conditioners in all rooms. They seem to be old homes that have been renovated in some way (ie, new floors) recently. Plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils. Access to the beach is a one block walk. A comfortable place to stay. They are so clean, and everything you reached for in a drawer or cupboard was there. Even great laundry facility right there for your use. Beach just a short walk down the road. I can't say enough about the property, the location and the owners (Margie and Sam) who were so gracious and accommodating. They accepted our beloved Labrador retriever, Gracie, as a guest and we all had a ball. The beach is so close and everything we needed was right in the cottage. Although we have traveled to other places since then, I still think that was my favorite place of all!
